Setup

1. Memory Card Installation

Before first use, please format the memory card. The dash cam supports up to a 128GB memory card. Using a larger card may cause crashes or shutdowns. Insert the memory card while the dash cam is off, then connect it to a power source using the original car charger.

2. Mounting and Installation

The dash cam comes with 5 cable clips for easy cable management. You only need to plug in the car charger with a Type-C interface to use. The 360-degree rotating bracket allows for flexible adjustments to attain your preferred recording angle.

3. Connecting to the Avylet APP

Easily operate your dash cam via the Avylet APP on your smartphone. To turn on Wi-Fi, short press the Wi-Fi button (the second button from the left to right) in Non-Recording State.

Important:

• When connecting to Wi-Fi using the "Avylet" app, please grant access to camera, location, and local network permissions. This ensures a smoother connection process and enables GPS location retrieval without compromising your privacy.
• If you can't view Live View in the APP, try disabling your phone's cellular data.
• If you still can't access memory card videos, download videos to the app's album for viewing.

Operating Instructions

1. Loop Recording

The dash cam automatically overwrites the oldest files when the memory card is full, ensuring uninterrupted recording. Files locked by the G-Sensor are not overwritten. You can customize recording lengths to 1, 3, or 5 minutes via the settings.

2. 24H Parking Mode

Ensure your parking security 24/7 with two parking detection modes. Note: The parking monitor requires the ACC hardwire kit with Type-C interface (not included).

• Motion Detection: When motion is detected within the dash cam's field of view, it will initiate a 30-second video recording.
• Time-Lapse Recording: Capture frames at intervals of 1, 2, 5, or 10 frames per second and compile them into a fast-forward video.

3. Collision Detection (G-Sensor)

Equipped with a built-in G-sensor, the dash cam automatically detects collisions, locking the recording to prevent it from being overwritten, even during loop recording. Collision sensitivity can be adjusted to low, medium, or high.

4. Screen Saver

If you do not operate the dash cam during the set period (30 seconds/1 minute), the screen will automatically turn off and display the time. Meanwhile, the dash cam will keep recording even in screen saver mode, minimizing distractions while driving.

1. Firmware Updates (OTA)

Ensure that your dashcam firmware is up to date to promptly fix bugs, update the latest features, and enhance security. Updates can be performed Over-The-Air (OTA) via the Avylet APP.

2. Memory Card Care

Regularly format your memory card to maintain optimal performance and prevent data corruption. Always ensure the dash cam is off before inserting or removing the memory card.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Avylet A1 Dash Cam, refer to the following common solutions:

• Cannot connect to Wi-Fi or Live View in APP: Ensure you have granted camera, location, and local network permissions to the Avylet app. Try disabling your phone's cellular data.
• Cannot access memory card videos via APP: If direct access fails, download the videos to the app's album for viewing.
• Dash Cam crashes or shuts down: Ensure you are using a memory card of 128GB or less. Larger cards may cause instability.
• Recordings are being overwritten: Check your loop recording settings. Ensure important files are locked by the G-sensor or manually saved to prevent overwriting.
• Poor video quality at night: Verify that Super Night Vision is enabled and consider adjusting WDR and EV settings for optimal clarity.
