4.1 Power On/Off
- Automatic: The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when your vehicle's engine starts (and the cigarette lighter socket receives power).
- Manual: Press and hold the Power button to manually turn the dash cam on or off.
4.2 Recording Modes
- Normal Recording: When powered on, the dash cam continuously records video in segments (e.g., 1, 3, or 5 minutes). These segments are saved to the Micro SD card.
- Loop Recording: When the Micro SD card is full, the dash cam will automatically overwrite the oldest unlocked video files to make space for new recordings. This ensures continuous recording without manual intervention.
- Emergency Recording (G-Sensor): If the G-Sensor detects a sudden impact or collision, it will automatically lock the current video segment, preventing it from being overwritten by loop recording. These locked files are stored in a separate folder on the SD card.
- Parking Mode: With a hardwire kit (sold separately), the dash cam can monitor your vehicle for 24 hours. It will automatically start recording and lock footage if motion or collision is detected while parked.
