1. Safety Information

3. Setup
Proper setup is crucial for optimal performance. Follow these steps to install your portable air conditioner.
3.1 Window Kit Installation
- Assemble the window slider kit according to the instructions provided in the separate assembly guide.
- Open the window and place the assembled window slider kit into the window opening. Extend the slider to fit the window width or height and secure it.
3.2 Exhaust Hose Connection
- Attach the exhaust hose adapter to one end of the exhaust hose.
- Connect the other end of the exhaust hose to the exhaust outlet on the back of the unit.
- Insert the exhaust hose adapter into the opening in the window slider kit, ensuring a secure fit to prevent air leakage.

4. Operating Instructions
Your Hisense portable air conditioner can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the included remote control.
4.1 Control Panel Functions

- Power Button: Press to turn the unit ON or OFF.
- Mode Button: Cycle through operating modes: COOL, DRY (Dehumidify), FAN, HEAT.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures efficient operation and extends the lifespan of your unit.
5.1 Air Filter Cleaning
The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.
- Turn off and unplug the unit.
- Locate and remove the air filter from the back of the unit.
- Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely before reinserting.
- Do not operate the unit without the air filter.
5.2 Water Drainage
The unit will accumulate condensate during cooling and dehumidifying operations. It features an auto-evaporation system, but manual drainage may be required in high humidity conditions or when the unit indicates a full water tank.
- Turn off and unplug the unit.
- Place a shallow pan or tray under the drainage port at the bottom rear of the unit.
- Remove the drain plug to allow water to flow out.
- Once drained, replace the drain plug securely.
