Important Safety Instructions
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and/or injury to persons, including the following:

- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.
- Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn any control to "off", then remove plug from wall outlet.
- Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
- Use the liner at temperatures below 350°F and with water to avoid sticking the liner to the pan.

Setup and First Use
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and promotional labels from the roaster oven.
- Cleaning: Wash the removable inner roasting pan, roasting rack, and lid in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Wipe the exterior of the roaster base unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base unit in water.
- Assembly: Place the clean inner roasting pan into the roaster base unit. Insert the roasting rack into the inner pan.
- Initial Burn-Off: Before cooking food, operate the roaster oven empty for 30 minutes at 450°F (232°C) to burn off any manufacturing oils. This may produce a slight odor and smoke; ensure adequate ventilation. Allow the unit to cool completely afterward.
Operating Instructions
Temperature Control
The roaster oven features a full-range temperature control from 150°F to 450°F (65°C to 232°C). Use the control knob to select the desired cooking temperature.

Roasting
- Place food on the roasting rack within the inner pan.
- Cover with the self-basting lid. The lid is designed to continuously circulate moisture, enhancing flavor and tenderness.
- Plug the roaster into a standard electrical outlet.
- Turn the temperature control knob to the desired setting. The indicator light will illuminate.
- Cook until food reaches the appropriate internal temperature. Refer to a reliable cooking chart for recommended temperatures.
- Once cooking is complete, turn the knob to "Off" and unplug the unit.

Thaw and Warm Settings
The roaster oven includes specific settings for thawing and warming food.

Cleaning
