Product Overview
The TIMNUT 4K Action Camera is a compact and versatile device designed for capturing high-quality footage in various environments. It features a 4K/30fps video resolution, 20MP photo capability, Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS), and a 170° wide-angle lens.

Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the camera.
- Open the compartment cover.
- Insert a fully charged 1050 mAh battery, ensuring correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
2. MicroSD Card Insertion
Your camera comes with a 64GB MicroSD card. Ensure it is inserted correctly before use.
- Locate the MicroSD card slot on the side of the camera.
- Gently push the MicroSD card into the slot until it clicks into place.
- To remove, push the card in again until it springs out.

3. Charging the Battery
Use the provided USB cable to charge the batteries. A full charge provides approximately 240 minutes of continuous use.
4. Using the Waterproof Housing
The waterproof housing allows the camera to be used up to a depth of 131ft (40m). Ensure the housing is properly sealed before submerging.

Important Note: The external microphone cannot be used simultaneously with the waterproof case, as the case is designed to be completely sealed for water resistance.
Operating Instructions
Powering On/Off
- To power on, press and hold the Power button.
- To power off, press and hold the Power button again.
Video Recording
The camera supports 4K/30fps video recording with Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS).
- Select video mode.
- Press the Shutter/OK button to start recording.
- Press the Shutter/OK button again to stop recording.
Photo Capture
Capture high-resolution 20MP still images.
- Select photo mode.
- Press the Shutter/OK button to take a photo.
Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS)
The built-in 3-axis stabilization gyro helps maintain stable footage, reducing the effects of shakes and jitters during active use.

- Download and Install FUN DV App:
- Option 1: Download the FUN DV app from Google Play or the App Store.

- Turn on Camera WiFi: Turn on the Wi-Fi of the camera. Verify the camera is in video media mode, then press the UP button briefly to turn on Wi-Fi. Briefly press the UP button again to turn Wi-Fi off.
- Check Wi-Fi Status: When the camera is on Wi-Fi, the Wi-Fi SSID and password will be displayed on the screen.
- Connect to Camera Wi-Fi: Connect to the camera's Wi-Fi settings according to the SSID and password displayed on the camera screen.
- Allow App Permissions: Allow all app-up permissions requested by your phone.
- Launch FUN DV App: Launch the FUN DV app on your phone and tap "connect the camera" to open the FUN DV app. Control your camera with the FUN DV app.
Troubleshooting WiFi Connection Errors:
If you encounter errors when connecting to Wi-Fi, follow these steps:
- Disable Wi-Fi Assist on your smartphone.
- Turn off Cellular Data on your smartphone.
- Reconnect to the Wi-Fi Network provided by the camera.

2.4G Wireless Remote Control
The included 2.4G wireless remote control allows for convenient operation of the camera, especially during outdoor activities where direct access to the camera buttons might be difficult.
