- Locate the power button on the umbrella pole (usually near the crank mechanism). Press the button to turn the lights ON/OFF.

Charging the LED Lights
- The primary charging method is via the integrated solar panel. Place the umbrella in an area that receives ample direct sunlight.
- For faster charging or during periods of low sunlight, a Type-C charging port is available on the pole. Connect a Type-C cable (not included) to a suitable power source to charge the lights.
- A full solar charge typically provides 6-8 hours of light.

Maintenance
- Cleaning the Canopy: Clean the polyester canopy with water and a mild detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before closing or storing.
- Frame Care: The alloy steel frame is rust-resistant. Wipe down the frame with a damp cloth as needed.
- Storage: To maximize the lifespan of your umbrella, always close and securely tie it when not in use. For extended periods of non-use or during harsh weather conditions (winter, heavy storms), it is recommended to store the umbrella in a dry, protected area.
- Solar Panel: Keep the solar panel clean and free of debris to ensure efficient charging.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Umbrella does not open/close smoothly. | Mechanism obstructed or damaged; crank not lubricated. | Check for obstructions. Apply a silicone-based lubricant to the crank mechanism if needed. Do not force the crank. |
| LED lights are not turning on. | Insufficient solar charge; power button OFF; loose connection; battery issue. | Ensure solar panel receives direct sunlight for several hours. Press the power button to ON. Check all cable connections. If lights still fail, try charging via the Type-C port. |
| Umbrella is unstable. | Base is too light or not properly secured; pole not tightened. | Ensure you are using a heavy-duty umbrella base appropriate for the umbrella size. Tighten the securing knob on the base. |
| Canopy fading or discoloration. | Prolonged exposure to harsh UV rays. | While the canopy is UV-resistant, extreme prolonged exposure can cause some fading over time. Close the umbrella when not in use to minimize exposure. |
