4. Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Turn on your V-mount battery or power source. The connected devices (monitor, wireless receiver, camera, etc.) should receive power.

  4. Power Off: To power down, first turn off all connected devices, then disconnect the D-Tap cable from the V-mount battery. Finally, disconnect the dummy batteries from your devices.

Note: Do not power the camera directly from the D-Tap input if the input voltage is 9V. In such cases, the NP-F output will be 7.8V, which is normal, but the Type-C output will only be 5V. Ensure your camera's power requirements are met by the Type-C output when using the DMW-DCC17 dummy battery.
