5.2 General Care

  • Keep the projector clean and free from dust. Use a soft, dry cloth for cleaning the exterior.
  • Ensure proper ventilation to prevent overheating. Do not block the air vents.
  • Store the projector in a cool, dry place when not in use.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your WZATCO Alpha 2 Max projector, refer to the following common solutions:

  • No Power: Ensure the power cord is securely connected to both the projector and the power outlet. Check if the power outlet is functioning.
  • No Image: Verify that the correct input source is selected. Check all cable connections (HDMI, USB).
  • Blurry Image: While the projector has auto-focus, ensure the lens is clean. If the auto-focus is inconsistent, try repositioning the projector to a more stable surface or directly facing the screen.
  • Distorted Image (not rectangular): The auto-keystone correction should resolve this. If not, ensure the projector is placed as squarely as possible to the screen.
  • No Sound: Check the volume settings on both the projector and the connected source. If using external speakers, ensure they are properly paired via Bluetooth or connected via audio cables. If using HDMI ARC, ensure your soundbar is compatible and correctly configured. Some users report HDMI ARC issues when using external streaming sticks; try connecting the streaming stick directly to the soundbar if possible, or use a different audio output method.
  • Apps Not Working: If preloaded OTT apps (Netflix, Prime Video, Hotstar) stop working, uninstall and reinstall them from the Aptoide store.
  • Overheating: Ensure the projector's vents are not blocked and there is sufficient airflow around the unit.
