Setup Guide

Connecting the CX1

Operation

Input Connection

The CX1 features a single combo input jack. This versatile input accepts both XLR connectors for microphones and 1/4-inch (6.35mm) TS/TRS connectors for instruments or line-level devices. Ensure your cable is securely connected.

Phantom Power (+48V)

If you are using a condenser microphone, it requires +48V phantom power to operate. Press the +48V button on the front panel to activate phantom power. An indicator light will illuminate when active. Do not activate phantom power when using dynamic microphones or ribbon microphones, as this can damage certain types of microphones.

Gain Control

Monitoring

The CX1 provides a 1/4-inch headphone output for direct monitoring of your input signal and playback from your computer. Troubleshooting

Input Signal Issues (No Signal/Low Signal)

• Check that your microphone or instrument is properly connected to the combo input.

• Verify the CX1 is selected as the input device in your computer's sound settings and your DAW.
