4. Setup and Assembly

The EcoSmart Metro Electric Scooter comes approximately 90% assembled. Final assembly typically involves attaching the handlebars, seat, and basket. Basic tools are included, but a small socket set may be helpful for tightening bolts to specifications.

Battery Installation/Replacement:

1. Locate the four screws securing the bamboo deck.
2. Remove these screws and carefully lift the deck to expose the battery compartment.
3. Unplug the battery connector. The battery pack is a single unit.
4. Replace with a new battery pack, ensuring all connections are secure.
5. Replace any plastic covers and re-secure the bamboo deck with the four screws.

2. Starting: Place one foot on the bamboo deck and push off gently with the other foot to gain initial momentum.

4. Braking: Squeeze the hand brake lever on the left handlebar to engage the rear brake. Apply the brake smoothly to avoid sudden stops.
