Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the ZYK Universal Remote Control, designed as a replacement for various VIZIO Smart TV remotes. Setup

1. Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
2. Slide open the battery cover.
3. Insert two (2) AAA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
4. Close the battery cover securely.

Note: Batteries are not included with the package.

2. Initial Use (No Programming Required)

The ZYK Universal Remote Control is designed for immediate use with compatible VIZIO Smart TVs. No additional pairing or programming steps are required. Simply insert the batteries, and the remote is ready to operate your television.

Operating Instructions

Basic Functions

• Power Button: Turns the TV on or off.
• Input Button: Cycles through available input sources (HDMI, AV, etc.).
• Volume (+/-) Buttons: Adjusts the TV volume up or down.
• Mute Button: Mutes or unmutes the TV audio.
• Channel (+/-) Buttons: Changes the TV channel up or down.
• Number Buttons (0-9): Directly selects TV channels.
• Navigation Pad (Up, Down, Left, Right) & OK Button: Navigates menus and confirms selections.
• Back Button: Returns to the previous screen or menu.
• Home Button: Accesses the TV's main SmartCast home screen.
• Menu Button: Opens the TV's main menu.
• Info Button: Displays information about the current program or content.
• CC (Closed Caption) Button: Toggles closed captions on or off.

Shortcut Buttons

The remote features dedicated shortcut buttons for quick access to popular streaming applications and VIZIO's 'Watch Free' service.

• VUDU: Launches the VUDU streaming application.
• NETFLIX: Launches the Netflix streaming application.
• Prime Video: Launches the Amazon Prime Video streaming application.
• XUMO: Launches the XUMO streaming application.
• HULU: Launches the Hulu streaming application.
• Redbox: Launches the Redbox streaming application.
• Watch Free: Provides one-click access to hundreds of free channels.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement

If the remote control's response becomes sluggish or stops working, replace the AAA batteries. Follow the battery installation steps outlined in the Setup section.

Troubleshooting

• Remote not responding:

• Shortcut buttons not working:
