Setup and Installation

1. Transmitter (Doorbell Button) Installation

  1. Choose Location: Select a flat, vertical surface near your door. Ensure the surface is clean and dry.
  2. Mounting Options:
    • Adhesive Tape: Peel off one side of the double-sided adhesive tape and stick it to the back of the transmitter. Peel off the other side and firmly press the transmitter onto the desired surface for at least 30 seconds.
    • Screws: Open the back cover of the transmitter. Mark the positions for drilling holes using the back cover as a template. Drill two holes, insert wall anchors (if needed), and secure the transmitter's back cover with the provided screws. Snap the front part of the transmitter onto the secured back cover.
  3. Battery Check: The transmitter comes with a pre-installed CR2032 battery. Ensure the plastic insulation tab is removed before use.

2. Receiver Setup

  1. Insert Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the back of each receiver. Insert 3 x AA batteries into each receiver, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery compartment.
  2. Placement: Place the receivers in desired locations within your home or office. They can be placed on a table, shelf, or mounted on a wall. Consider central locations for optimal sound distribution.

3. Pairing (If Needed)

The transmitter and receivers are typically pre-paired at the factory. If they do not connect automatically, or if you wish to pair additional transmitters/receivers, follow these steps:

  1. Press and hold the volume button on the receiver for 5 seconds until you hear a "ding" sound and the LED indicator flashes. This indicates the receiver is in pairing mode.
  2. Within 5 seconds, press the doorbell transmitter button. The receiver will chime, indicating successful pairing.
  3. Repeat for any additional receivers or transmitters.

Operating Instructions

1. Changing Chime Tunes

The doorbell offers 60 different chime melodies. To change the chime:

  • Press the "Music" button (note icon) on the side of the receiver to cycle through the available melodies.
  • Once you find your desired melody, press the doorbell transmitter button to confirm and set it.

2. Adjusting Volume

There are 5 adjustable volume levels, ranging from 0dB (silent) to 110dB. To adjust the volume:

  • Press the "Volume" button (speaker icon) on the side of the receiver to cycle through the volume levels.
  • Stop at your desired volume level.

3. Silent Mode (Mute)

To activate silent mode (0dB), repeatedly press the "Volume" button until the volume reaches its lowest setting. In silent mode, the receiver will only provide a visual RGB light notification when the doorbell is pressed.

4. RGB Light Indicator

The receivers feature an RGB LED light ring that illuminates when the doorbell is pressed, providing a visual alert. This is particularly useful in noisy environments or for individuals with hearing impairments.

Maintenance

1. Battery Replacement

  • Transmitter (Button): The transmitter uses a CR2032 battery, which can last up to 4.5 years. When the battery is low, the doorbell's performance may degrade. To replace, open the back cover, remove the old battery, and insert a new CR2032 battery with the correct polarity.
  • Receivers: Each receiver requires 3 x AA batteries. When the battery is low, the receiver may indicate this visually (e.g., flashing light) or with reduced performance. Open the battery compartment, replace the old batteries with new AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.

2. Cleaning

Wipe the doorbell transmitter and receivers with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the surface or internal components. The transmitter is IP66 waterproof, but avoid submerging it in water.
