1. Introduction

The AZIJYV C3 Heads Up Display (HUD) is an advanced automotive accessory designed to project essential driving information directly onto your windshield, enhancing safety and convenience. This device provides real-time data such as speed, water temperature, fuel consumption, and various alarm functions, utilizing both OBD2 and GPS systems for broad compatibility across vehicles.

2. Features

The C3 HUD offers a comprehensive suite of features to keep you informed while driving:

3. What's in the Box

Upon opening your AZIJYV C3 Heads Up Display package, you should find the following components:

4. Setup and Installation

The AZIJYV C3 HUD supports both OBD2 and GPS modes. Choose the appropriate connection method for your vehicle.

4.1. OBD2 Mode Installation (Recommended for compatible vehicles)

OBD2 mode is suitable for most vehicles manufactured after 2008. Please note that some Suzuki cars and Chevrolet full-range cars may not be compatible with the OBD system.

  1. Locate your vehicle's OBD2 port, typically found under the dashboard on the driver's side.
  2. Connect the provided OBD cable to the OBD2 port.
  3. Route the cable discreetly along the dashboard or A-pillar to the desired placement of the HUD unit.
  4. Place the HUD unit on the non-slip mat on your dashboard, ensuring a clear view for projection onto the windshield.
  5. Connect the OBD cable to the HUD unit.
  6. Start your vehicle. The HUD unit should power on automatically and display data.

4.2. GPS Mode Installation (For all cars, especially if OBD2 is not compatible)

GPS mode is universally compatible with all cars. In this mode, the HUD relies on satellite signals for speed and other data.

  1. Connect the provided cigarette lighter cable to the HUD unit.
  2. Plug the cigarette lighter adapter into your vehicle's 12V power outlet.
  3. Place the HUD unit on the non-slip mat on your dashboard.
  4. Start your vehicle. The HUD unit will power on and begin searching for GPS signals. Data will be displayed once a stable GPS connection is established.
  5. If your car does not meet the OBD protocol, please switch to GPS mode within 5 seconds of power on.

5. Operating Instructions

The C3 HUD features intuitive buttons for navigation and settings adjustment.

5.1. Display Modes and Information

The HUD can display various information depending on the selected mode (OBD or GPS). You can cycle through different display layouts using the navigation buttons.

If you encounter any issues with your AZIJYV C3 HUD, please refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

Inaccurate speed/data in GPS mode.Weak GPS signal, initial calibration needed.Ensure the unit has a clear view of the sky for optimal GPS reception. Allow a few minutes for the unit to acquire satellite signals. You may need to calibrate the speed offset in the settings menu if there's a consistent discrepancy.
Unit reboots frequently or beeps.Unstable power supply, internal error.Check the power connection for stability. If using OBD2, ensure your vehicle's OBD port provides consistent power. Try switching to GPS mode with the cigarette lighter cable to see if the issue persists.
Battery drain when connected via OBD2 (car off).OBD2 port remains powered when the car is off.Some vehicles' OBD2 ports remain active even when the ignition is off. If this is the case, disconnect the HUD unit when the vehicle is not in use for extended periods to prevent battery drain.
Display is too dim or too bright.Automatic brightness adjustment not optimal, manual adjustment needed.The unit has automatic brightness adjustment. If it's not suitable for your environment, refer to the detailed English manual for instructions on manually adjusting brightness settings.
