5. Setup and Installation
5.1. Tools Required (Not Included)
- Pencil
- Drill
- Stud Finder
- Measuring Tape
- Socket Wrench or Adjustable Wrench
- Phillips Head Screwdriver
5.2. Attaching TV Brackets to the TV
- Carefully place your TV face-down on a soft, clean surface to prevent screen damage.
- Identify the VESA mounting holes on the back of your TV.
- Select the appropriate screws, washers, and spacers from the hardware kit that fit your TV's VESA pattern.
- Attach the two TV brackets to the back of your TV using the selected hardware. Ensure the brackets are centered and securely fastened. The pull straps should hang freely below the TV.

5.3. Mounting the Wall Plate to the Wall
- Determine the desired height for your TV. Mark the center point on the wall.
- Use a stud finder to locate at least two adjacent wood studs. Mark their centers. For concrete walls, ensure you use appropriate concrete anchors (included).
- Position the wall plate against the wall, aligning its mounting holes with the marked stud centers. Use the included clip-on spirit level to ensure the wall plate is perfectly horizontal.
- Mark the drilling points through the wall plate holes.
- Drill pilot holes at the marked locations. The size of the drill bit will depend on your wall type and the chosen lag bolts/anchors.
- Secure the wall plate to the wall using the provided lag bolts and washers. Tighten all bolts firmly, but do not overtighten.

5.4. Hanging the TV
- With assistance, carefully lift the TV (with brackets attached) and align the TV brackets with the wall plate.
- Hook the TV brackets onto the top edge of the wall plate.
- Gently lower the TV until the quick-release spring locks engage, securing the TV to the wall plate. You should hear an audible click.
- Pull the release straps to ensure the locks are engaged and the TV is securely mounted.

6. Operation
Once installed, the MANHATTAN Ultra Slim Rigid TV Wall Mount provides a fixed, low-profile position for your television. To remove the TV from the wall mount:
- Locate the pull straps hanging below the TV.
- Pull both straps downwards simultaneously to disengage the quick-release spring locks.
- With assistance, carefully lift the TV off the wall plate.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the mount with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Periodic Check: Periodically check all screws and bolts to ensure they remain tight and secure.
- Damage: If any part of the mount appears damaged or worn, do not use it. Contact customer support for assistance.
8. Troubleshooting
- TV Not Level: Ensure the wall plate was installed horizontally using the spirit level. If not, remove the TV, adjust the wall plate, and re-mount.
