- Charging: Connect the drone battery to the USB charging cable. Plug the USB end into a 5V/1A USB adapter (not included). The indicator light on the charger will show charging status (e.g., red for charging, green for full). Charging time is approximately 90 minutes per battery.
3. Propeller Guards Installation
For beginner pilots or indoor flight, attach the propeller guards to protect the propellers from damage during collisions. Clip them onto the drone arms around each propeller.
4. Remote Control Pairing
- Place the drone on a flat, level surface.
- Turn on the drone by pressing the power button. The drone's indicator lights will flash.
- Turn on the remote control.
- Push the left joystick (throttle) up to the maximum position, then pull it down to the minimum position. The drone lights will stop flashing and remain solid, indicating successful pairing.
5. App Download and FPV Connection
Download the dedicated drone control app from your smartphone's app store. Search for "REDRIE Drone App" or scan the QR code provided in the quick start guide (if applicable).
- Enable Wi-Fi on your smartphone.
- Connect to the drone's Wi-Fi network (e.g., "REDRIE_Drone_XXXXXX").
- Open the drone app to view the FPV (First Person View) camera feed and access advanced flight features.
Operating Instructions
Basic Flight Controls
- One Key Take-off/Landing: Press the one-key take-off/landing button on the remote control to automatically launch or land the drone.
- Throttle (Left Joystick): Push up to ascend, pull down to descend.
- Direction (Right Joystick): Push forward to fly forward, pull back to fly backward, push left to fly left, push right to fly right.
- Yaw (Left Joystick Left/Right): Push left to rotate counter-clockwise, push right to rotate clockwise.
Altitude Hold
The drone features an upgraded altitude hold function, allowing it to maintain a stable hovering position at a set altitude. This feature is automatically engaged after take-off, providing stability for photography and videography.

Headless Mode
In Headless Mode, the drone's orientation is relative to the pilot, regardless of the drone's actual front direction. This simplifies control, especially for beginners. Activate Headless Mode by pressing the dedicated button on the remote control.
Speed Modes
The drone offers three speed modes (Low, Medium, High) to accommodate different skill levels and flying environments. Press the speed switch button on the remote to cycle through the modes.

Gesture Selfie
Utilize hand gestures to control the camera for photos and videos. Ensure the drone's camera is facing you and you are within a suitable range.
- "V" Gesture: Make a "V" sign with your fingers to take a photo.
- "Palm" Gesture: Show your open palm to start or stop video recording.
