3. Setup and Installation

3.2 Measuring Your Door Cylinder

3.3 Installation Steps

1. Remove Old Cylinder: Unscrew the retaining screw on the side of your door that holds the existing cylinder in place. Carefully slide out the old cylinder.

2. Register/Log In: Create a new account or log in to your existing Tuya Smart account.
3. Add Device: In the app, tap the "+" icon to add a new device. Select "Lock" or "Smart Lock" from the device categories.
4. Pair Lock: Follow the on-screen instructions in the app to put the lock into pairing mode. This usually involves pressing a button on the lock or performing a specific action. The app will detect and connect to the lock via Bluetooth (BLE Mesh).
