4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

To install the battery, align the battery pack with the back of the radio and slide it into place until it clicks securely. Ensure the battery contacts are clean and properly aligned.

4.2 Antenna Attachment

Screw the antenna clockwise onto the connector on top of the radio until it is finger-tight. Do not overtighten.

4.3 Charging the Radio

The HA1G GMRS radio can be charged using the provided USB desktop charger or directly via its Type-C port. Connect the USB-C cable to the radio and a compatible power source (e.g., mobile power bank, car charger, or wall adapter). The 2800mAh battery supports approximately 20 hours of working time and 153 hours of standby time.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off and Volume Control

To power on the radio, rotate the top-right knob clockwise. Continue rotating to adjust the volume. Rotate counter-clockwise until a click is heard to power off the device.

5.2 VFO Mode and Channel Selection

The HA1G supports VFO (Variable Frequency Oscillator) mode, allowing users to manually set frequencies directly from the keypad. Use the MENU button to access settings and the arrow keys to navigate. The intuitive menu page facilitates quick function settings.

5.3 Push-to-Talk (PTT) and Side Buttons
