Setup

Operating Instructions

1. Radio Operation (AM/FM/NOAA)

4. NOAA Weather Band: For NOAA weather alerts, select the WB band and tune to one of the seven NOAA frequencies (162.400 MHz, 162.425 MHz, 162.450 MHz, 162.475 MHz, 162.500 MHz, 162.525 MHz, 162.550 MHz).

2. NOAA Emergency Weather Alert

When the radio is set to the WB band and receives a severe weather alert, it will automatically activate a loud SOS siren and flash a red light to notify you of the emergency.

3. SOS Alarm

To activate the SOS alarm, press and hold the SOS Button (usually located near the flashlight button) for approximately 3 seconds. The radio will emit a loud siren (over 80dB) and the flashlight will flash. Press the button again briefly to deactivate the SOS alarm.

4. Flashlight

Press the Flashlight Button (located on the side of the radio) to cycle through the 3 brightness levels: Low, Medium, High. Press again to turn off the flashlight.

5. Reading Lamp

To activate the reading lamp, lift the solar panel upwards. The integrated LED lights beneath the solar panel will illuminate. Close the solar panel to turn off the reading lamp.

1. USB-C Charging

Connect the provided USB-C cable to the radio's USB-C input port and plug the other end into a standard USB power adapter (e.g., phone charger, computer USB port). The battery indicator lights will show charging progress.

2. Hand Crank Charging

Unfold the hand crank handle located on the back of the radio. Rotate the crank clockwise or counter-clockwise at a steady pace (approximately 100-120 RPM) for 3-5 minutes to generate sufficient power for short-term use or to maintain battery charge.

3. Solar Charging
