1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Olayks Portable Induction Cooktop. This versatile appliance, featuring a 1500W power output, sensor touch controls, LED display, and pot detection, is designed for efficient and convenient indoor cooking, including BBQ and hot pot. This manual provides essential information for safe operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and longevity of your cooktop.

2. Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using the appliance. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

Electrical Safety: Ensure the power outlet matches the voltage specified on the appliance. Do not immerse the cooktop base in water or any other liquid. Always unplug the appliance when not in use and before cleaning.
Heat and Burn Hazard: The cooktop surface and cookware will become hot during use. Always use oven mitts or heat-resistant gloves when handling hot components. Allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning or storing.
Suitable Cookware: Use only induction-compatible cookware (magnetic bottom). The cooktop features pot detection and will not operate without suitable cookware. Refer to Figure 4 for examples of compatible cookware.
Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation around the cooktop during operation. Do not block the air vents.
Children and Pets: Keep the appliance out of reach of children and pets. Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used near children.
Damage: Do not operate the appliance if the cord or plug is damaged, or if the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Contact customer support for assistance.
Intended Use: This appliance is intended for household use only. Do not use it outdoors or for commercial purposes.

3. Product Components

The Olayks Portable Induction Cooktop comes with several interchangeable components for various cooking methods:

Induction Cooktop Base: The main unit with sensor touch controls and LED display.
Iron Pan (Grill Pan): A non-stick grill pan, ideal for grilling meats and vegetables. Dimensions: 10 inches x 10 inches x 1.2 inches.
Iron Pot: A deep non-stick pot, perfect for hot pot, soups, and braising. Dimensions: 10.4 inches x 10.4 inches x 3 inches.
Iron Lid: A universal lid for both the grill pan and the pot.
Steaming Frame: A rack that fits inside the pot for steaming.

4. Setup

Unpack all components and remove any packaging materials.
Place the induction cooktop base on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, ensuring adequate clearance around the unit for ventilation.
Choose the desired cooking accessory (Iron Pan or Iron Pot) and place it securely on the cooktop base. If steaming, place the Steaming Frame inside the Iron Pot.
Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. The LED display will illuminate, indicating the unit is in standby mode.

5. Operating Instructions

The Olayks Induction Cooktop offers precise control for various cooking needs.

5.1 Power On/Off

To turn on, press the Power button (power icon). The display will show a default power or temperature setting.
To turn off, press the Power button again.

5.2 Mode Selection (Power/Temperature)

The cooktop features dual mode selection for precise control:

Power Mode (P1-P8): Use for general heating and boiling. Press the Power Mode button (stacked lines icon) to cycle through power levels P1 (100W) to P8 (1500W).
Temperature Mode (C1-C6): Use for precise temperature control, ideal for grilling and simmering. Press the Temperature Mode button (pot with steam icon) to cycle through temperature levels C1 (212°F) to C6 (410°F).

5.3 Timer Function

Press the Timer button (clock icon) to set a cooking duration up to 99 minutes. Use the rotary knob to adjust the time.
The cooktop will automatically shut off once the set time expires.

5.4 Pot Detection

The cooktop is equipped with an automatic pot detection feature. If no suitable cookware is placed on the cooktop, or if it is removed during operation, the unit will display an error code and stop heating. Place induction-compatible cookware on the surface to resume operation.

5.5 Cooking Functions Overview

Utilize the included accessories and power/temperature modes for diverse cooking experiences:

Barbecue: Use the Iron Pan (Grill Pan) with appropriate temperature settings for grilling meats and vegetables.
Hot Pot: Use the Iron Pot for communal hot pot cooking.
Steam: Place the Steaming Frame inside the Iron Pot for healthy steaming.
Braise, Ramen, Congee, Soup, Tea: All these functions can be achieved using the Iron Pot with suitable power or temperature settings.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper cleaning ensures the longevity and hygiene of your Olayks Induction Cooktop.

Cooktop Base: Always unplug the cooktop and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Wipe the black crystal panel with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers.
Iron Pan and Pot: The non-stick iron pan and pot are designed for easy cleaning. They can be separated from the base and are dishwasher safe. For hand washing, soak them in warm soapy water and clean with a soft sponge.
Steaming Frame: Wash with warm soapy water or place in the dishwasher.
Ensure all parts are thoroughly dry before reassembling or storing.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Olayks Induction Cooktop, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

Problem	Possible Cause	Solution
Cooktop does not turn on.	No power, loose plug, or power button not pressed.	Check power outlet, ensure plug is firmly inserted, press the Power button.
No heating, error code displayed.	Incompatible cookware or no cookware detected.	Ensure induction-compatible cookware is placed correctly on the cooktop. Refer to Figure 6.
Uneven heating on grill pan.	Oil distribution or specific burner location.	Distribute oil evenly. Note that induction cooktops concentrate heat in the center; adjust food placement as needed.
Cooktop makes noise during operation.	Normal fan operation or vibration from cookware.	This is usually normal. Ensure the cooktop is on a stable surface.
