1. Product Overview

3. Setup Guide

3.1 Power Supply

The feeder supports dual power supply: via the included 5V DC adapter or 3 D-cell batteries (not included). It is recommended to use both for uninterrupted operation in case of power outages.

1. Connect the USB cable to the feeder and the power adapter. Plug the adapter into a wall outlet.
2. For battery backup, open the battery compartment on the bottom of the feeder and insert 3 D-cell batteries, ensuring correct polarity.

3.2 Filling the Food Tank

The feeder has a 3L food tank. Ensure to use dry pet food with a diameter suitable for the dispenser mechanism to prevent clogging.

1. Rotate the top lid counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it.
2. Pour dry pet food into the tank.
3. Replace the top lid and rotate clockwise to lock it securely.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Control Panel Overview

The control panel allows you to program and manage the feeder's functions.

4.2 Setting Current Time

To set the current time on the feeder's display:

1. Press and hold the 'Time' button until the hour display flashes.
2. Use the 'Hour' and 'Minute' buttons to adjust the time.
3. Press 'Time' again to confirm and exit.

4.3 Scheduling Meals

You can program up to 4 meals per day (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and a 4th Meal option) with customizable portion sizes (1-39 portions).

1. Press the meal button you wish to set (e.g., 'Breakfast'). The meal time will flash.
2. Use the 'Hour' and 'Minute' buttons to set the desired feeding time.
3. Press the 'Meal Size' button and use the 'Up'/'Down' arrows to select the number of portions.
4. Press the meal button again to save the settings for that meal. Repeat for other meals as needed.
5. To turn a meal on or off, press the 'On/Off' button when the specific meal is selected.

4.4 Voice Recording

Record a 10-second personalized message to call your pet at meal times.

1. Press and hold the 'MIC' button. The recording indicator will light up.
2. Speak your message into the microphone.
3. Release the 'MIC' button to stop recording.
4. Press the 'Play' button to listen to your recorded message.

4.5 Manual Feeding

To dispense food instantly, press the 'Manual' button. This will dispense one portion of food.

5.1 Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and hygiene for your pet.

• The food container and feeding bowl are removable and washable. Hand wash only with mild soap and water.
• The main unit (below the hopper) contains electronic components and cannot be cleaned with water. Wipe it with a dry cloth.

5.2 Desiccant Box Replacement

The desiccant box in the lid helps keep the food fresh. Replace it periodically (e.g., every 1-2 months) to maintain food freshness.

1. Remove the top lid.
2. Use a small screwdriver to open the desiccant box cover.
3. Replace the old desiccant with a new one.
4. Close the cover and reattach the lid.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 Food Not Dispensing

• Check if the food tank is empty.
• Ensure the feeder is powered on and connected to a power source or has charged batteries.
• Verify that meal times and portion sizes are correctly programmed.
• Check for any food clogs in the dispenser mechanism. The anti-clog design helps, but large kibble or debris can still cause issues.

6.2 Feeder Not Powering On

• Ensure the power adapter is securely plugged into both the feeder and a working wall outlet.
• If using batteries, check if they are inserted correctly and have sufficient charge. Replace if necessary.

6.3 Voice Recording Issues

• Ensure you are pressing and holding the 'MIC' button for the entire duration of your recording.
• Speak clearly and close to the microphone.
