Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your projector.
1. Cleaning the Lens
Gently wipe the lens with a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or excessive force.
2. Lamp Replacement
The projector lamp has a limited lifespan. When the lamp indicator lights up or the image becomes dim, it's time to replace the lamp. Refer to the warning label on the projector for specific instructions and lamp type (e.g., ELPLP78).
- Ensure the projector is powered off and completely cooled down.
- Locate the lamp cover (often on the top or side of the projector).
- Unscrew the lamp cover and carefully remove the old lamp module.
- Insert the new genuine Epson replacement lamp (ELPLP78) and secure it.
- Replace the lamp cover and reset the lamp timer in the projector's menu.

- Power off and unplug the projector.
- Locate the air filter cover.
- Remove the filter and clean it with a small vacuum cleaner or soft brush. Do not wash the filter.
- Reinsert the clean filter and replace the cover.
