5. Setup
- Initial Charge: Before first use, fully charge the vacuum sealer using the provided USB Type-C cable. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours and provides enough power for about 5 hours of vacuum sealing.
- Attach Appropriate Adapter: The M11 comes with two adapters for different jar sizes. Ensure the correct adapter (wide-mouth or regular-mouth) is securely attached to the main unit. The unit's split design allows for easy attachment and detachment of the sealing rings.
6. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to vacuum seal your Mason jars:
- Prepare the Jar: Ensure the rim of the Mason jar and the lid are clean and dry. Any food particles or moisture can prevent a proper seal.
- Fill the Jar: Fill the Mason jar with your desired food. Leave appropriate headspace:
- For solid foods (e.g., fruit, pickles): Leave approximately 1/2 inch (1.27 cm) of space from the top.
- For soft foods (e.g., jams, jellies): Leave approximately 1 inch (2.54 cm) of space from the top.
- Place the Lid: Place a new, clean Mason jar lid (flat disc) onto the jar.
- Position the Sealer: Place the UNERVER M11 vacuum sealer directly over the Mason jar lid, ensuring it is centered and firmly pressed down onto the lid.
- Start Sealing: Press the "ON" button on the top of the sealer. The device will begin to extract air from the jar. The digital display will show a countdown.
- Complete Sealing: The sealing process typically takes more than 10 seconds. The device will automatically stop once the vacuum is achieved. You can press the "OFF" button at any time to stop the process manually.
- Remove Sealer: Once the sealing process is complete, carefully lift the vacuum sealer from the jar. The lid should now be securely sealed.
- Verify Seal: Gently press the center of the lid. It should not flex up or down if a proper seal has been achieved.
- Label and Store: Use the provided label stickers to record the date and contents of the jar for easy tracking. Store sealed jars in a cool, dry place or refrigerate as appropriate for the food type.

7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the main unit with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water. The silicone sealing rings can be removed and washed with mild soap and water. Ensure they are completely dry before reattaching.
- Silicone Ring Adjustment: Frequent use may cause the silicone ring inside the Mason jar vacuum sealer to dislocate, potentially leading to seal failure. Manually adjust the silicone ring back to its original, proper position before each use to ensure optimal sealing performance.
