Setup and Assembly Instructions

Assembly of the PayLessHere Gaming Chair is designed to be straightforward. Follow these steps carefully.

Step 1: Attach Casters to the Base

Insert each of the five casters into the holes at the end of each leg of the star base. Push firmly until they click into place.

Step 2: Install Gas Lift

Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the assembled star base. Cover the gas lift with the telescopic plastic cover.

Step 3: Attach Mechanism Plate to Seat Cushion

Align the mechanism plate with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the seat cushion. Ensure the front of the mechanism faces the front of the seat. Secure with screws using the provided Allen wrench.

Step 4: Attach Armrests to Seat Cushion

Attach the armrests to the sides of the seat cushion using the designated screws. Ensure they are oriented correctly (left and right).

Step 5: Attach Backrest to Seat Cushion and Armrests

Align the backrest with the mounting plates on the seat cushion and armrests. Secure with screws. Ensure all connections are firm.

Step 6: Connect Seat Assembly to Gas Lift

Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the gas lift cylinder. Press down firmly to secure the connection.

Step 7: Attach Lumbar and Headrest Pillows

Attach the lumbar support pillow and headrest pillow to the backrest using their integrated straps.

Operating Instructions

Your PayLessHere Gaming Chair offers several adjustable features to customize your seating experience.

Height Adjustment

To adjust the chair's height, locate the lever on the right side beneath the seat. While seated, pull the lever up to lower the chair. To raise the chair, stand up and pull the lever up. Release the lever at your desired height.

Rocking Mode and Tilt Lock

The chair features a rocking function for added comfort. Pull out the control handle (the same lever used for height adjustment) to enable the rocking motion. Push the handle in to lock the chair in an upright position and prevent tilting.

You can also adjust the tension of the rocking mechanism using the round knob located beneath the seat. Turn clockwise to increase tension (making it harder to rock) and counter-clockwise to decrease tension (making it easier to rock).

Lumbar and Headrest Support

The chair includes an adjustable lumbar pillow and a headrest pillow. Position these to best support your lower back and neck for optimal ergonomic comfort.

Maintenance

Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Chair is unstable or wobbly.Loose screws or improper assembly.Check all screws and bolts, especially those connecting the backrest, seat, and armrests. Re-tighten as necessary. Ensure the gas lift is fully seated in the base.
Chair makes squeaking noises.Loose connections or friction between parts.Tighten all screws. Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to moving parts or connection points if tightening does not resolve the issue.
Chair height adjustment not working.Gas lift malfunction or lever issue.Ensure the lever is fully engaged. If the issue persists, the gas lift cylinder may need replacement. Contact customer support.
Chair does not rock or is stuck.Tilt lock engaged or tension too high.Pull the control handle out to enable rocking. Adjust the tension knob counter-clockwise to reduce tension.
Casters not rolling smoothly.Debris caught in casters.Turn the chair over and remove any hair, dust, or debris from the caster wheels.
