Setting Your Combination

The default combination for your new lock is 0-0-0-0. Follow these steps to set your personalized combination:

1. Set the lock to the default code (0-0-0-0) and pull up the shackle.
2. Turn the shackle counter-clockwise 90 degrees to align with the code setting gap.
3. Push the shackle down firmly until the tiny pin is entirely inside the gap.
4. While holding the shackle down, turn it another 90 degrees counter-clockwise. The shackle should now stay down without being pushed manually.
5. Scroll the dials to set your desired 4-digit combination. Ensure the numbers are completely visible in the window.
6. Turn the shackle clockwise until it pops up. Your new code is now set.

It is recommended to take a photo or write down your new combination for future reference.

Operating the Lock

To lock your item:

1. Ensure the shackle is open.
2. Insert the shackle through the item you wish to secure.
3. Push the shackle down into the lock body until it clicks into place.
4. Scramble the numbers on the dials to a random combination to secure the lock.

To unlock your item:

1. Align the dials to your preset 4-digit combination.
2. Pull up on the shackle to release the lock.

Care and Maintenance

• Regularly check the dials for smooth operation. If they become stiff, a small amount of lubricant can be applied.

Troubleshooting

Unable to open by the default password (0-0-0-0)

Please confirm if the numbers 0-0-0-0 are completely in the windows of the lock. If they are, and the lock still doesn't open, we recommend trying combinations with only the numbers 0, 1, and 9, such as 0110, 0011, 0099, 0009, 9000, 0019, 0199, etc. This can help if the dials were slightly misaligned during manufacturing or initial use.

Unable to open after setting a new password

If there were no errors during the password setting process, but the lock could not be opened with your new code, it's possible the code was not fully set. For example, if your new code is 7777, please try combinations like 7776, 7778, 7767, 7787, 7797, etc. This accounts for potential slight misalignments during the setting process. Always ensure the numbers are perfectly aligned in the window when setting and opening.
