3. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the cooker and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
- Placement: Place the cooker on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is sufficient space around the unit for proper ventilation (at least 10-15 cm from walls or other appliances). Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet voltage matches the appliance's requirements.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, wipe the ceramic surface with a soft, damp cloth. Ensure it is completely dry before plugging in.
4. Operating Instructions
Control Panel Overview:
The cooker features a sensor touch control panel with an LED display. Gently touch the icons to activate functions.
- Power Button (On/Off): To turn the unit on or off.
- Function Icons: Rice, Milk, Soup, Water, Fry, Stir-Fry, BBQ, Hot Pot. Select desired cooking mode.
- '+' / '-' Buttons: Adjust power levels, temperature, or timer settings.
- Timer Button: Set cooking duration or preset timer.
- Child Lock Button: Activates/deactivates the child lock feature.
- LED Display: Shows power level, temperature, time, or error codes.
Basic Operation:
- Place suitable cookware with food on the center of the ceramic heating surface.
- Press the Power button to turn on the cooker. The LED display will light up.
- Select your desired cooking function by touching the corresponding icon (e.g., Rice, Soup, Fry).
- Adjust the power level or temperature using the '+' and '-' buttons. The cooker offers 8 power levels, with a temperature range of 80°C-600°C and power range of 200W-2000W.
- To set a cooking timer, press the Timer button, then use '+' and '-' to set the desired duration (up to 4 hours). The cooker will automatically turn off when the timer expires.
- To use the preset timer (delay start), set the cooking function and then press the Timer button repeatedly until the preset indicator appears. Use '+' and '-' to set the delay time (up to 24 hours). The cooker will start cooking automatically after the preset time.
- To activate the Child Lock, press and hold the Child Lock button for a few seconds. The control panel will be locked to prevent accidental changes. Repeat to deactivate.
- After cooking, press the Power button to turn off the cooker. The heating surface will remain hot for some time; allow it to cool down completely before cleaning.
5. Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Mayer Ceramic Cooker.
- Always unplug the cooker and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Ceramic Surface: Wipe the ceramic surface with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive ceramic hob cleaner. Do not use abrasive pads, scouring powders, or harsh chemicals, as these can scratch or damage the surface.
- Body and Control Panel: Wipe the exterior body and control panel with a soft, damp cloth. Ensure no water enters the internal components.
- Accessories: Wash the BBQ tray and wire rack with warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry completely before storing.
- Storage: Store the cooker in a cool, dry place when not in use. Ensure it is clean and dry before storing.
