Setup Instructions
- Unpack the Machine: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Place the paraffin wax machine on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface.
- Insert Heat Insulating Grid: Place the heat insulating grid at the bottom of the inner pot. This prevents direct contact with the heating element.
- Add Paraffin Wax: Place the desired number of paraffin wax blocks into the inner pot. The machine has a 9000ml capacity, allowing for a substantial amount of wax. Ensure the wax level does not exceed the maximum fill line.
- Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions
The KARITE Paraffin Wax Machine offers three intelligent heating modes:
1. Manual Heating Mode
- Press the power button to turn on the machine.
- Use the temperature control buttons (+ / -) to set the desired temperature between 86°F (30°C) and 167°F (75°C).
- The machine will begin heating the wax. Monitor the melting process.
- Once the wax is fully melted and reaches the desired temperature, it is ready for use. Always test a small amount of wax on your wrist before immersing a body part.
2. Smart Mode (One-Touch Operation)
- Press the "Smart Mode" button. The machine will automatically heat the wax to an optimal temperature for therapy.
- This mode is designed for convenience, eliminating the need for manual temperature adjustments.
- Wait for the wax to fully melt and reach the ready temperature.
3. Time Reservation Mode
- Press the "Reservation" button.
- Use the time adjustment buttons to set a desired heating start time (e.g., 3-99 hours in advance).
- The machine will automatically begin heating the wax at the scheduled time, ensuring it is ready when needed.

Application Steps for Paraffin Wax Therapy:
- Prepare Skin: Ensure the area to be treated (hands, feet, elbows) is clean and dry.
- Test Wax Temperature: Before immersing, test the wax temperature by dipping a small area of your wrist or finger. The wax should feel warm and comfortable, not uncomfortably hot.
- Dip Body Part: Slowly dip the hand, foot, or elbow into the melted wax. Remove it immediately and allow the wax to solidify for a few seconds. Repeat this process 3-5 times to build up a thick layer of wax.
- Cover with Plastic and Thermal Mitts: Immediately after the final dip, cover the waxed area with a plastic glove/bag (provided) and then with a thermal mitt or foot cover (provided) to retain heat.
- Relax: Allow the wax to remain on for 10-15 minutes. This allows the heat to penetrate and provide therapeutic benefits.
- Remove Wax: Gently peel off the solidified wax. The wax should come off easily, taking dead skin cells with it. Dispose of used wax. Do not reuse wax that has been removed from the body.

Maintenance and Cleaning
- Cleaning the Machine:
- Always unplug the machine and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- To remove residual wax, turn the machine on for a short period to slightly soften the wax, then unplug and carefully scrape out the wax using the provided silicone scraper or a wooden spatula.
- Wipe the interior and exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water.
- Wax Replacement: It is recommended to replace the paraffin wax after approximately 20-30 uses, or sooner if it appears dirty or contaminated.
- Storage: Store the machine in a cool, dry place when not in use. Ensure the lid is securely closed to prevent dust accumulation.
Troubleshooting Guide
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Machine does not turn on. | Not plugged in; power outlet issue; damaged cord. | Ensure power cord is securely plugged in. Test outlet with another device. Inspect cord for damage; if damaged, discontinue use and contact support. |
| Wax not melting or melting slowly. | Insufficient heating time; too much wax; low temperature setting. | Allow more time for heating. Ensure the machine is set to an appropriate temperature (e.g., Smart Mode or higher manual setting). Reduce the amount of wax if overfilled. |
| Wax is too hot. | Temperature set too high. | Reduce the temperature setting. Allow wax to cool before use. Always test wax temperature before application. |
| Wax is too cold/hard. | Temperature set too low; not enough heating time. | Increase the temperature setting or allow more heating time. |
