2. Product Overview
The XTUGA KP4 is a versatile 4-channel audio mixer designed for various applications including live streaming, karaoke, studio recording, and DJing. It features a 16-bit DSP effects processor, +48V phantom power, USB audio interface, and Bluetooth connectivity.

2.1. Controls and Functions

- Mic Input: XLR input for microphones.
- Phantom +48V Switch: Activates +48V phantom power for condenser microphones on channels 1 and 2.
- Line Input: 1/4" TRS input for line-level instruments or devices.
- Gain Knob: Adjusts the input sensitivity for each channel.
- Pad Attenuation Knob: Reduces input signal level if it's too hot.
- High/Mid/Low Knob (EQ): Adjusts the treble, midrange, and bass frequencies for each channel.
- Volume Adjustment: Controls the individual channel volume.
- Aux Knob: Sends signal to the AUX output for external effects or monitoring.
- CD/Tape Input (RCA): Stereo RCA inputs for connecting external audio sources like CD players or tape decks.

3. Setup
3.1. Power Connection
Connect the included power adapter to the Power Socket (18) on the rear of the mixer and then plug it into a suitable power outlet. Ensure the Power Switch (17) is in the OFF position before connecting power.
3.2. Connecting Audio Sources
- Microphones: Connect XLR microphones to the Mic Inputs (1). For condenser microphones requiring power, activate the +48V Phantom Switch (2) for the respective channel.
- Line-Level Devices: Connect instruments or audio players to the Line Inputs (3) using 1/4" TRS cables, or to the CD/Tape Input (9) using RCA cables.

3.3. Connecting to a Computer (USB Audio Interface)
The KP4 mixer can function as a USB audio interface. Connect the mixer to your computer using a USB cable. The mixer will be recognized as an audio device, allowing you to record or play back audio through it.

3.4. Connecting Output Devices
- Main Speakers: Connect your main speakers to the Main Output Sockets (11) using XLR or 1/4" TRS cables.
- Headphones/Monitors: Connect headphones or control room monitors to the Monitoring Socket (12).
4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Basic Operation
- Turn on the mixer using the Power Switch (17).
- Adjust the Gain Knob (4) for each input channel to achieve an optimal input level without clipping (the PEAK indicator should not light up consistently).
- Use the High/Mid/Low Knobs (6) to fine-tune the tonal characteristics of each channel.
- Adjust the individual channel Volume Adjustment (7) to balance the levels of different inputs.
- Control the overall output volume using the Main Volume Adjustment (15) faders.
- Adjust the Monitor Volume Adjustment (16) for your headphones or control room speakers.
4.2. DSP Effects
The KP4 features a 16-bit digital stereo effects processor with 16 different echo effects, including room and hall reverbs.
- Turn the Program Knob (14) to select the desired effect number (1-16).
- Press the Program Knob (14) to confirm your selection.
- Adjust the FX TO AUX1 knob to send the signal to the effects processor.
- Use the REPEAT knob to control the echo time and feedback of the selected effect.

4.3. Bluetooth Connectivity
The mixer supports wireless Bluetooth connection for audio playback from compatible devices.
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your external device (e.g., smartphone, tablet).
- On the mixer, select the Bluetooth input mode (usually indicated on the digital display).
- Search for "BT-5.0" or similar on your device's Bluetooth settings and pair with the mixer.
- Once paired, you can play audio from your device through the mixer. Use the MP3 Control (13) buttons for playback control.
