5. Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Jectse M10-3 Mobile Hotspot, consider the following maintenance tips:
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid extreme temperatures. Do not expose the device to direct sunlight for extended periods or to very cold environments. Charge the device regularly, but avoid overcharging.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the device. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols, as they may damage the internal components.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the device in a cool, dry place. It is advisable to charge the battery to about 50% before long-term storage.
- Software Updates: Periodically check the manufacturer's website or the device's web management interface for any available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and security.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1. Common Connection Issues
If you are experiencing difficulty connecting to the internet, consider the following:
- SIM Card Activation/Traffic: Ensure your SIM card is activated and has an active data plan. An inactive card or one without data traffic will prevent internet access.
- Incorrect SIM Card Insertion: Verify that the SIM card is inserted correctly into the designated SIM card slot, not into a memory card slot. Refer to Section 3.1 and Image 3.1.
- Frequency Band Mismatch: The frequency band of your SIM card must match the frequency bands supported by the Jectse M10-3 router. The router supports LTE bands B1 / 3 / 7 / 8 / 20 / 28AB / 38 / 40 / 41 and UMTS bands B1 / B8. If your SIM card operates on different bands (e.g., B2, B4), it will not be able to connect to the network. Contact your mobile carrier to confirm your SIM card's frequency bands.
- Network Coverage: Ensure you are in an area with adequate 4G network coverage from your SIM card provider.
- Restart Device: Try restarting the mobile hotspot and your connected device.
