3. Controller Layout

4. Setup and Connection

4.1 Initial Connection (Pairing)

  1. Ensure your PS4 console is powered on.
  2. Connect the CHEREEKI controller to your PS4 console using the provided USB charging cable.
  3. Press the Home Key (PS button) on the controller. The light bar will flash and then glow steadily, indicating successful pairing.
  4. Once paired, you can disconnect the USB cable to use the controller wirelessly via Bluetooth.

Note: For subsequent connections, simply press the Home Key to connect wirelessly to the last paired PS4 console.

4.2 Charging the Controller

The controller has a built-in 800 mAh battery. To charge:

  • Connect the controller to your PS4 console or a USB power adapter (5V/1A) using the USB Type-C cable.
  • The light bar will slowly flash orange during charging.
  • A full charge takes approximately 3 hours and provides 8 to 10 hours of gameplay.
  • The light bar will turn off when fully charged.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Controls

Refer to the "Controller Layout" section for button identification.

  • Analog Sticks: Control character movement and camera.
  • D-pad: Navigate menus and perform specific in-game actions.
  • Action Buttons (Triangle, Circle, Cross, Square): Perform primary in-game actions.
  • Shoulder Buttons (L1, R1): Often used for secondary actions or weapon selection.
  • Trigger Buttons (L2, R2): Typically used for aiming and firing in shooter games, or acceleration/braking in racing games.

5.2 Special Features

5.2.1 Dual Vibration Feedback

The controller provides immersive dual vibration feedback, allowing you to feel in-game actions such as explosions, impacts, and environmental effects.

5.2.2 Gyroscope Sensor

The integrated 6-axis gyroscope sensor enables motion control in compatible games. Tilt, rotate, and pivot the controller to control in-game actions, offering a new layer of interaction.

5.2.3 Turbo Function

The turbo function allows for continuous rapid firing or repeated button presses. To activate/deactivate:

  1. Press and hold the Turbo Key.
  2. While holding the Turbo Key, press the desired action button (e.g., Cross, Circle, Square, Triangle, L1, R1, L2, R2).
  3. Release both buttons. The selected button will now continuously repeat its action when held down.
  4. To deactivate, repeat the process: hold Turbo Key and press the same action button again.

5.2.4 Touchpad

The integrated touchpad provides intuitive control for navigating menus and performing specific in-game gestures in compatible titles.

5.2.5 Programmable Back Buttons (F1/F2)

The F1 and F2 buttons on the back of the controller can be programmed to replicate other button inputs, allowing for personalized control schemes.

  1. Press and hold the Share Button and the F1/F2 Button you wish to program simultaneously for 3 seconds. The light bar will flash rapidly.
  2. Press the button you want to map (e.g., R2, Triangle, etc.). The light bar will flash slowly.
  3. Press the F1/F2 Button again to confirm the mapping. The light bar will return to its normal state.
  4. To clear a mapping, repeat step 1, then press the F1/F2 Button twice without pressing any other button in between.

6. Maintenance

  • Keep the controller clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Avoid exposing the controller to extreme temperatures, humidity, or direct sunlight.
  • Do not disassemble the controller, as this will void the warranty.
  • Store the controller in a safe place when not in use to prevent damage.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 Controller Not Connecting/Responding

  • First Connection: Ensure you are using the provided USB cable to connect and activate the controller with your PS4 console.
  • Battery Level: Check if the controller battery is charged. Connect it to a power source.
  • Reset the Controller: Locate the small reset hole on the back of the controller (near the F1 key). Use a thin tool (like a straightened paperclip) to press and hold the reset button for 3-5 seconds. Then, attempt to reconnect.
  • Re-pair: If issues persist, try re-pairing the controller by connecting it via USB and pressing the Home Key.
  • PS4 System Software: Ensure your PS4 system software is up to date.

7.2 Input Lag or Disconnections

  • Distance: Ensure you are within the 8-meter wireless range of the PS4 console.
  • Interference: Minimize interference from other wireless devices (Wi-Fi routers, other Bluetooth devices).
  • Battery: A low battery can affect wireless performance. Charge the controller fully.

7.3 Buttons Not Responding Correctly

  • Reset: Perform a controller reset as described above.
  • Cleanliness: Ensure no debris is lodged around the buttons.
