1. Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using the appliance and retain them for future reference. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

• Ensure the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to your local mains voltage before connecting.
• Do not immerse the appliance, power cord, or plug in water or any other liquid.
• Keep the appliance out of reach of children. The hot water and steam can cause severe burns.
• Always place the air pot on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from edges.

• Avoid overfilling the air pot beyond the maximum fill line to prevent boiling water from overflowing.
• Do not open the lid while water is boiling or immediately after, as hot steam may escape.
• The appliance is equipped with overheating and boil-dry protection. If the water level is too low, the appliance will automatically shut off.
• Utilize the child-lock safety feature to prevent accidental dispensing of hot water.
• Unplug the appliance from the power outlet when not in use and before cleaning.

3. Setup

Initial Setup:

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the air pot and all packaging materials.
2. Clean: Before first use, clean the inner pot and lid with warm soapy water, then rinse thoroughly. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Ensure all parts are dry before use.
3. Placement: Place the air pot on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the appliance.
4. Fill: Open the lid and fill the inner pot with fresh water up to the 'MAX' fill line. Do not overfill.
5. Close Lid: Securely close the lid.
6. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

Boiling Water:

1. After initial setup and filling, the appliance will automatically begin heating the water to boiling point (100°C).
2. The boiling indicator light will illuminate during this process.
3. Once the water has boiled, the appliance will automatically switch to the keep warm function.

Setting Keep Warm Temperature:

The air pot offers three adjustable keep warm temperatures: 65°C, 85°C, and 98°C.

1. After boiling, press the 'Temperature Select' button on the control panel.
2. Each press will cycle through the available temperatures. Select your desired temperature.
3. The corresponding indicator light for the selected temperature will illuminate. The appliance will maintain this temperature.

Dispensing Hot Water:

Ensure the child-lock safety feature is disengaged before dispensing.

1. Disengage Child Lock: Press and hold the 'Unlock' button (or similar child-lock release button) on the control panel.
2. Choose Dispensing Method:
   • Auto-Dispensing: While holding the 'Unlock' button, press the 'Dispense' button. Water will flow continuously until the 'Dispense' button is released.
   • Manual Dispensing: While holding the 'Unlock' button, manually pump the dispensing lever located on the top of the lid.
   • Cup Touch Switch: For models with this feature, place your cup against the cup touch switch located near the dispenser spout while holding the 'Unlock' button. Water will dispense.
3. Release Child Lock: Release the 'Unlock' button after dispensing. The child lock will re-engage automatically after a few seconds of inactivity.

Water Level Indicator:

Monitor the water level through the transparent indicator on the front of the appliance. Refill when the water level is low to prevent boil-dry situations.

360° Swivel Base:

The air pot can rotate 360° on its base, allowing for convenient access from any direction without lifting the appliance.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your Mayer Electric Air Pot.

General Cleaning:

1. Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Wipe the exterior of the air pot with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
3. The detachable lid can be removed for thorough cleaning. Wash it with warm soapy water, rinse, and dry completely before reattaching.
4. Clean the dispensing spout regularly to prevent mineral buildup.

Cleaning the SUS304 Food-Grade Stainless Steel Inner Pot:

The inner pot is made of SUS304 food-grade stainless steel. Over time, mineral deposits (limescale) may accumulate, especially in hard water areas. Descaling is recommended periodically.

1. Fill the inner pot with a solution of water and white vinegar (e.g., 1 part vinegar to 2 parts water) or a commercial descaling agent according to its instructions.
2. Allow the solution to soak for several hours or boil it briefly (if using vinegar, ensure good ventilation).
3. Empty the solution and rinse the inner pot thoroughly several times with fresh water to remove any residue and odor.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your Mayer Electric Air Pot, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

• Appliance does not heat or turn on:
  • Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working electrical outlet.
  • Ensure there is sufficient water in the inner pot. The boil-dry protection may have activated if the water level was too low.
  • Verify that the lid is properly closed.
• Water is not dispensing:
  • Ensure the child-lock safety feature is disengaged by pressing and holding the 'Unlock' button.
  • Check if there is enough water in the pot.
  • Inspect the dispensing spout for any blockages or mineral buildup.
