Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the air pot from its packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
- Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the inner pot and lid with warm water and a mild detergent. Rinse thoroughly and wipe dry.
- Placement: Place the air pot on a stable, level, and heat-resistant surface, away from walls or other appliances to allow for proper ventilation.
- Power Connection: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into the air pot and then into a grounded electrical outlet.
Operating Instructions
1. Filling with Water
- Ensure the air pot is unplugged.
- Open the detachable lid.
- Fill the inner pot with fresh, clean water. Do not exceed the "MAX" fill line indicated on the water level indicator.
- Close the lid securely.
2. Boiling Water
- Plug the air pot into a power outlet. The appliance will automatically begin heating the water to boiling point (98°C).
- The boiling process is indicated by a light on the control panel.
- Once the water has boiled, the air pot will automatically switch to the keep-warm function.
3. Setting Keep-Warm Temperatures
The Mayer MMAP380 offers three adjustable keep-warm temperatures: 65°C, 85°C, and 98°C.
- After boiling, the air pot will maintain a default keep-warm temperature.
- Press the "Temperature" or "Keep Warm" button on the control panel to cycle through the available temperature settings (65°C, 85°C, 98°C).
- The selected temperature will be indicated by a corresponding light on the control panel.
4. Dispensing Methods
The air pot provides three methods for dispensing hot water:
- Auto-Dispensing: Press the "Dispense" button on the control panel. Ensure the child lock is disengaged if active.
- Manual Dispensing: Press the manual pump button located on the top of the lid.
- Cup Touch Switch: Gently press a cup against the lever behind the dispensing spout.
Caution: Hot steam may escape during dispensing. Keep hands and face clear of the spout.
5. Child-Lock Safety Feature
To prevent accidental dispensing, especially by children, activate the child-lock feature.
- To engage the child lock: Press the "Lock" button on the control panel. A lock indicator light will illuminate.
- To disengage the child lock: Press the "Unlock" button (or the same "Lock" button again) to allow dispensing. The lock indicator light will turn off.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air pot.
- Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the air pot from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scourers.
- Inner Pot Cleaning: The SUS304 food-grade stainless steel inner pot can be cleaned with warm water and a mild detergent. For stubborn mineral deposits (limescale), use a descaling solution suitable for kitchen appliances or a mixture of water and vinegar. Follow the descaling product's instructions. Rinse thoroughly multiple times to remove all residue.
- Detachable Lid: The lid is detachable for easy cleaning. Wash it with warm, soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly before reattaching.
- Storage: When not in use for an extended period, ensure the air pot is clean and dry. Store it in a cool, dry place.

Troubleshooting
