4. Setup

4.1 Charging the Device

Before initial use, fully charge the EVE II. Connect the provided USB-C charging cable to the device's USB-C port and the other end to a standard USB power adapter (not included). The LED indicator will show charging status and turn off when fully charged.

4.2 Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the multi-function button for approximately 3 seconds until the LED indicator lights up.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the multi-function button for approximately 3 seconds until the LED indicator turns off.

4.3 Mode Selection (Transmitter TX / Receiver RX)

The EVE II features a bidirectional switch to select between Transmitter (TX) and Receiver (RX) modes. Locate the switch on the side of the device and slide it to your desired mode.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Transmitter (TX) Mode

In TX mode, the EVE II transmits audio from a non-Bluetooth source to Bluetooth headphones or speakers.

  1. Set the EVE II to TX mode using the switch.
  2. Connect the EVE II to your audio source (e.g., airplane entertainment system, TV, Nintendo Switch) using the 3.5mm AUX plugs or the included 3.5mm audio cable.
  3. Power on the EVE II. It will automatically enter pairing mode (LED indicator will flash).
  4. Put your Bluetooth headphones or speakers into pairing mode.
  5. The EVE II will automatically search for and connect to nearby Bluetooth devices. Once connected, the LED indicator will remain solid.

Dual-Link Connection (TX Mode)

The EVE II supports connecting to two Bluetooth headphones/speakers simultaneously.

  1. Connect the first Bluetooth device as described above.
  2. Once the first device is connected, press the multi-function button once to enter pairing mode for the second device. The LED will flash.
  3. Put your second Bluetooth headphones or speakers into pairing mode.
  4. The EVE II will connect to the second device. Both devices will now receive audio from the source.

5.2 Receiver (RX) Mode

In RX mode, the EVE II receives audio from a Bluetooth source (e.g., smartphone, tablet) and outputs it to a non-Bluetooth audio device (e.g., car stereo, home speaker system).

  1. Set the EVE II to RX mode using the switch.
  2. Connect the EVE II to your audio output device (e.g., car stereo AUX input, home speaker system) using the 3.5mm AUX plugs or the included 3.5mm audio cable.
  3. Power on the EVE II. It will automatically enter pairing mode (LED indicator will flash).
  4. On your Bluetooth audio source device (e.g., smartphone), enable Bluetooth and search for "ADAM elements EVE II" in the list of available devices.
  5. Select "ADAM elements EVE II" to pair. Once connected, the LED indicator will remain solid.
  6. Play audio on your source device, and it will be transmitted wirelessly to the EVE II and then outputted to your connected audio system.
