3. Setup

3.1 Power Source

The Retekess V115 can be powered by its internal rechargeable battery, 4 AA batteries (not included), or via AC power. Ensure the correct power source is used.

• Rechargeable Battery: The radio includes a rechargeable battery. Connect the radio to a USB power adapter (not included) using the provided charging cable to charge the internal battery.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

Press the POWER button to turn the radio on or off.

4.2 Radio Mode (AM/FM/SW)

1. Press the MODE button to cycle through FM, AM, and SW bands.
2. Use the TUNING buttons (up/down arrows) to manually tune to a desired frequency.
3. For automatic scanning, press and hold the SCAN button. The radio will search and store available stations.
4. To access stored presets, use the number buttons or the PRESET navigation buttons.

• Radio Recording: While listening to a radio station, press REC to record the broadcast.
• Recording Quality: Access settings via the MENU button to select recording quality: Simple (64kbps), Quality (96kbps), or Super (128kbps).

4.4 MP3 Playback

The radio can play MP3/WMA files stored on the TF card.

• Press the MODE button to switch to MP3 playback mode.

• To directly access a song by its load number, use the number pad.
