Operating Instructions
Basic Operation
The Baton 4 features a side switch for all operations. Press the switch once to turn the flashlight ON/OFF. When turned ON, the flashlight will default to the last used brightness mode (excluding special modes).
Brightness Modes
- Moonlight (0.5 lumens): When OFF, press and hold the switch for 1 second. Ideal for low-light situations without disturbing others.
- Low (12 lumens): From OFF, single press to turn ON. Hold the switch to cycle through Low, Medium, High.
- Medium (60 lumens): Cycle from Low or High.
- High (600 lumens): Cycle from Medium.
- Turbo (1300 lumens): Double-press the switch from any mode (except Lockout). Provides maximum brightness for short bursts.
Special Modes
- Strobe: Triple-press the switch from any mode (except Lockout).
- Lockout: To prevent accidental activation, press and hold the switch for 2 seconds from OFF. The light will briefly flash Moonlight mode before locking. To unlock, press and hold the switch for 2 seconds again.
