4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment inside the safe.
2. Insert 4 AAA batteries (not included) according to the polarity markings.
3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2 Fingerprint Setup

The safe allows for multiple fingerprint registrations for quick access.

1. Ensure batteries are installed.
2. Open the safe using the emergency key or default passcode.
3. Locate the setup button inside the safe (often near the battery compartment). Press and hold it until an indicator light appears.
4. Place your finger on the fingerprint scanner. Lift and repeat several times from different angles until the safe confirms successful registration (usually with a beep or green light).
5. Test the registered fingerprint to ensure it unlocks the safe.

4.3 Passcode Setup

You can set a 4-6 digit passcode for keypad access.

1. Ensure batteries are installed.
2. Open the safe.
3. Press and hold the setup button inside the safe.
4. Enter your desired 4-6 digit passcode on the keypad.
5. Press the setup button again to confirm. The safe will indicate successful registration.

4.4 Installation

1. Place the safe in the desired mounting location and mark the positions for the mounting holes using a pencil.
2. Move the safe and drill pilot holes at the marked spots.
3. Align the safe's holes with the drilled holes and secure it in place using the provided self-tapping screws.

5. Operation

5.1 Opening with Fingerprint

1. Place a registered finger firmly on the fingerprint scanner.
2. The safe will unlock and open automatically if the fingerprint is recognized.

5.2 Opening with Passcode

1. Enter your programmed 4-6 digit passcode on the keypad.
2. The safe will unlock and open automatically if the passcode is correct.

5.3 Opening with Emergency Key

1. Insert one of the emergency keys into the keyhole on the front of the safe.
2. Turn the key to unlock the safe. The lid will spring open.

5.4 Emergency Power via Type-C Port

If the batteries are depleted and you cannot locate the emergency keys, you can temporarily power the safe using a Type-C power bank (not included).

1. Connect a Type-C cable from a power bank to the Type-C port on the safe.
2. Once powered, use your registered fingerprint or passcode to open the safe.
3. Replace the internal AAA batteries as soon as possible.

5.5 Closing the Safe

1. Ensure no obstructions are preventing the lid from closing.
2. Gently push the lid down until it latches securely.
