1. Introduction

The MONZANA GH4500 is a powerful 4200W gas heater designed to provide comfortable warmth in well-ventilated indoor spaces such as workshops, garages, or garden sheds. It features three heat settings, piezoelectric ignition, and multiple safety mechanisms.

Follow these steps to set up your gas heater:

  1. Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and inspect the heater for any damage.
  2. Positioning: Place the heater on a firm, level surface in a well-ventilated indoor area. Ensure adequate clearance from walls and flammable objects.
  3. Gas Cylinder Installation: Open the rear compartment of the heater. Place a gas cylinder (up to 13 kg, propane/butane) inside the designated area.
  4. Connect Regulator and Hose: Attach the gas pressure regulator to the gas cylinder valve. Then, connect the 50 cm gas hose to the regulator and the heater's gas inlet. Ensure all connections are tight and secure.
  5. Leak Test: Before first use and after every gas cylinder change, perform a leak test using soapy water. Apply soapy water to all gas connections. If bubbles appear, there is a leak. Tighten connections or replace faulty parts. Never use an open flame to check for leaks.

To operate your MONZANA GH4500 Gas Heater:

  1. Open Gas Supply: Slowly open the valve on the gas cylinder.
  2. Ignition: Turn the control knob to the desired heat level (1, 2, or 3) and press the piezoelectric ignition button repeatedly until the ceramic plates ignite. You should see a flame across the ceramic plates.
  3. Adjust Heat Level: The heater offers three power levels: 1.5 kW, 2.9 kW, and 4.2 kW. Adjust the control knob to select the desired heat output.
  4. Monitoring: Always monitor the heater during operation. Ensure proper ventilation is maintained.
  5. Shut Down: To turn off the heater, first close the valve on the gas cylinder. Allow the remaining gas in the hose to burn off until the flame extinguishes. Then, turn the control knob to the 'OFF' position.
