This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your BEYOND HEAT 1500 Watt Electric Quartz Infrared Radiant Tower Heater, Model RM. Please read all instructions carefully before use and retain this manual for future reference.
2. Important Safety Instructions
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, observe the following:
- Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
- This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
- Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
- Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
- Do not use outdoors.
- To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
- To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
- This heater includes a safety tip-over switch and overheat protection system. If the heater tips over or overheats, it will automatically shut off.
- Ensure the heater is placed on a firm, level surface to activate the tip-over safety switch.
3. Product Components
Familiarize yourself with the parts of your BEYOND HEAT Radiant Heater:
- Thermostat Control Dial: Adjusts the desired room temperature.
- Power Control Dial: Selects between OFF, LOW (750W), and HIGH (1500W) heat settings.
- Power Indicator Light: Illuminates when the heater is operating.
- Quartz Tubes: Provide powerful radiant heat.
- Protective Netting: Covers the heating elements for safety.
- Handle: For easy portability.
- Tip-over Cut-off Switch: Safety feature located at the bottom of the unit.

4. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain packaging for storage if needed.
- Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) of clear space around the heater from walls, furniture, and other objects. Do not place it on soft surfaces like rugs or carpets that could block the air intake.
- Power Connection: Unwind the power cord completely. Plug the heater directly into a 120V AC, 60Hz electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
5. Operating Instructions
- Power On: Turn the Power Control Dial from "OFF" to either "LOW" (750W) or "HIGH" (1500W). The Power Indicator Light will illuminate.
- Adjusting Thermostat: Turn the Thermostat Control Dial clockwise to increase the desired temperature or counter-clockwise to decrease it. The heater will cycle on and off to maintain the set temperature.
- Safety Tip-Over Switch: The heater is equipped with a safety switch at its base. If the heater is not on a flat surface or is accidentally tipped over, it will automatically shut off. Ensure it is upright for operation.
- Overheat Protection: If the heater's internal components reach a certain temperature that could cause overheating, the heater will automatically shut off. Unplug the unit, allow it to cool for 10 minutes, then plug it back in and resume operation.
- Power Off: To turn off the heater, turn the Power Control Dial to "OFF". Unplug the heater from the wall outlet when not in use.

6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Do not immerse the heater in water.
- Storage: When not in use, store the heater in a cool, dry place. It is recommended to store it in its original packaging to protect it from dust and damage.
