7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your ARZOPA portable monitor, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
7.1 No Signal / Black Screen
- Check Cables: Ensure all cables (USB-C or HDMI) are securely connected to both the monitor and your source device.
- Power Supply: Verify the monitor is receiving sufficient power. If using HDMI, ensure a separate USB-C power source is connected to the monitor. Some devices (e.g., Nintendo Switch) may require their original dock or a powered USB-C adapter for stable video output.
- Input Source: Manually select the correct input source (USB-C or HDMI) via the OSD menu.
- Device Compatibility: Confirm your source device's USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode for video output.
- Restart Devices: Try restarting both your source device and the monitor.
7.2 Flickering Screen / Unstable Display
- Cable Quality: Use the provided cables or high-quality certified cables. Faulty cables can cause instability.
- Power Supply: Ensure adequate power. Insufficient power can lead to flickering. Connect an external power adapter if necessary.
- Refresh Rate: Check your device's display settings to ensure the refresh rate is compatible with the monitor (e.g., 60Hz for this model).
7.3 No Audio from Monitor Speakers
- Volume Level: Increase the monitor's volume using the adjustment buttons or via the OSD menu.
- Source Device Audio: Check your source device's audio output settings to ensure the ARZOPA monitor is selected as the playback device and its volume is not muted.
- Cable Connection: Ensure the USB-C or HDMI cable is fully connected, as audio is transmitted through these connections.
7.4 Image Quality Issues (Blurry Text, Incorrect Colors)
- Resolution: Ensure your source device's output resolution is set to 1920x1080 (FHD) for optimal clarity. Lower resolutions may result in blurry text.
- Color Settings: Adjust color settings (brightness, contrast, color temperature) via the OSD menu to your preference.
- HDR: If HDR is enabled and the content is not HDR, it might appear washed out. Try disabling HDR in the OSD menu or your device's display settings.
