Setup
1. Charging the Speaker
Before initial use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the charging port on the speaker and to a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator light will show the charging status. A full charge takes approximately 6 hours.

2. Power On/Off
Press the power button located on the top panel of the speaker to turn it on or off. A distinct audio cue will indicate the power status.
3. Wi-Fi Setup (JBL One App)
- Download the JBL One app from your device's app store.
- Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to add your JBL Charge 5 Wi-Fi speaker.
- The app will guide you through connecting the speaker to your home Wi-Fi network. This enables features like multi-room audio and higher quality streaming.
4. Bluetooth Pairing
- Press the Bluetooth button on the speaker. The Bluetooth indicator will flash, indicating pairing mode.
- On your mobile device, navigate to Bluetooth settings and select "JBL Charge 5 Wi-Fi" from the list of available devices.
- Once connected, the Bluetooth indicator will remain solid.

Audio Playback
