3. Product Overview
The YARD FORCE LSC21P-JP is a cordless electric reciprocating saw designed for pruning high branches. It features a lightweight design and a powerful 24V battery system.

4. Setup
4.1 Charging the Battery
- Connect the charger to a standard power outlet.
- Insert the 24V lithium-ion battery into the charger.
- The charging indicator on the battery will show the charging status. A full charge takes approximately 80 minutes.
- Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger.
4.2 Attaching the Blade
- Ensure the battery is removed from the saw before attaching or changing blades.
- Press the blade release button on the saw head.
- Insert the desired blade (21cm for general branches or 30cm for bamboo/hard branches) into the blade holder until it clicks securely into place.
- Pull on the blade to ensure it is firmly seated.

4.3 Assembling the Pole and Attaching the Battery
- Connect the extension pole sections by aligning the connectors and pushing them together until the lock engages.
- Adjust the pole length by loosening the locking mechanism, extending the pole to the desired length (162cm to 305cm), and then tightening the lock.
- Insert a charged 24V battery into the battery slot on the handle until it clicks.
- Attach the shoulder belt to the designated points on the pole for comfortable operation and weight distribution.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Pre-Operation Checklist
- Ensure all safety gear (face shield, glasses, gloves) is worn.
- Confirm the blade is securely attached.
- Check battery charge level.
- Verify the work area is clear of obstacles and people.
5.2 Starting and Stopping the Saw
- To start, press the safety lock-off button (W-switch) and then squeeze the trigger switch.
- To stop, release the trigger switch.
5.3 Cutting Techniques
- Positioning: Stand firmly on the ground. Use the adjustable pole to reach the branch without overextending.
- Angle Adjustment: Use the 3-stage angle adjustment to find the optimal cutting angle for the branch.
- Cutting: Place the blade against the branch and start the saw. Apply gentle, consistent pressure. Do not force the blade. Allow the saw to do the work.
- Avoid pinching: Be aware of the branch's weight and direction of fall to prevent the blade from getting pinched.
- Large branches: For thicker branches (up to 15cm diameter), make an undercut first to prevent bark stripping, then cut from the top.

6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your YARD FORCE LSC21P-JP.
- Cleaning: After each use, remove the battery and clean the saw head, blade, and pole with a dry cloth. Remove any sawdust or debris.
- Blade Care: Inspect blades for sharpness and damage. Replace dull or damaged blades immediately. Apply a thin layer of rust-preventative oil to the blade after cleaning.
- Battery Storage: Store batteries in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Do not store fully discharged batteries for extended periods.
- General Inspection: Periodically check all screws, bolts, and connections for tightness.
