Package Contents

Setup

  1. Positioning the Power Supply Unit

    Place the power supply unit at least 3.5 meters (11.5 feet) from the edge of the pool. Ensure it is in a shaded area and not exposed to direct sunlight or standing water.

  2. Connecting the Cleaner to the Power Supply

    Connect the floating cable from the cleaner to the power supply unit. Ensure the connector is fully inserted and secured.

  3. Placing the Cleaner in the Pool

    Gently lower the Dolphin S50 into the pool. Allow it to sink to the bottom, releasing any trapped air bubbles. Ensure the floating cable is untangled and spread out on the water surface to prevent tangling during operation.

  4. Connecting the Power Supply to the Mains

    Plug the power supply unit into a grounded electrical outlet. The cleaner is now ready for operation.

Operating Instructions

Starting a Cleaning Cycle

  1. Ensure the cleaner is properly submerged and the cable is untangled.
  2. Press the ON/OFF button on the power supply unit. The cleaner will begin its cleaning cycle.
  3. The Dolphin S50 utilizes CleverClean technology for smart navigation, ensuring optimal coverage of the pool floor.

    Cleaning Cycle Time 1.5 Hours

Ending a Cleaning Cycle / Retrieving the Cleaner

  1. Once the cleaning cycle is complete (approximately 1.5 hours), the cleaner will automatically shut off.
  2. To retrieve the cleaner, pull the floating cable gently until the cleaner reaches the surface.
  3. Use the handle to lift the cleaner out of the water. Allow excess water to drain from the cleaner before placing it on the pool deck.

  5. Disconnect the cleaner from the power supply unit.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Filter Basket

It is recommended to clean the filter basket after each cleaning cycle to maintain optimal performance.

  1. Ensure the cleaner is disconnected from the power supply.
  2. Open the filter compartment cover (top access).
  3. Remove the filter basket.
  4. Open the latches on the filter basket and separate the filter panels.
  5. Rinse the filter panels thoroughly with a garden hose until all debris is removed.
  6. Reassemble the filter basket and place it back into the cleaner. Close the filter compartment cover securely.

Cleaning the PVC Brushes

Periodically inspect the PVC brushes for any trapped debris or wear. Clean them as needed to ensure effective scrubbing.

Storage

When not in use, store the Dolphin S50 in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the cable is neatly coiled to prevent kinks or damage.
