5. Setup and Installation

5.1 Wiring Connections

The E2-RF controller features tool-free wiring terminals for easy and secure connections. Ensure all power is disconnected before making any connections.

  1. Identify LED Strip Type: Determine if your LED strip is single color (2 wires: V+, V-) or dual white (3 wires: V+, CW, WW).
  2. Connect LED Strip:
    • For Single Color LED strips: Connect the positive wire (V+) to the V+ terminal and the negative wire (V-) to the W terminal on the controller.
    • For Dual White (CCT) LED strips: Connect the common positive wire (V+) to the V+ terminal, the Cool White (CW) wire to the CW terminal, and the Warm White (WW) wire to the WW terminal.
  3. Connect Power Supply: Connect your DC 12-24V power supply to the input terminals. Ensure the positive (+) of the power supply connects to the V+ input terminal and the negative (-) connects to the GND input terminal.

5.2 Initial Power-Up

After all connections are securely made, connect your power supply to a power outlet. The LED strip should illuminate according to the default settings.

6.1 Switching Output Modes

The E2-RF controller supports two output modes: single color and dual white. You can switch between these modes using the 'SET' button on the controller.

6.2 Remote Control (Optional)

The E2-RF controller is compatible with 2.4GHz RF remotes (e.g., FUT007 or B2, sold separately). To pair a remote:

  1. Ensure the controller is powered on.
  2. Refer to your specific remote control's instructions for pairing. Typically, this involves pressing a link button on the remote within a few seconds of powering on the controller.
  3. Once paired, you can control brightness, color temperature (for dual white strips), and turn the lights on/off using the remote.

6.3 Smartphone Control (Optional)

For smartphone control via the Miboxer APP, a WL-Box2 gateway (sold separately, search B01N7C3HXQ) is required. The E2-RF controller cannot be controlled directly by a smartphone without this gateway.

  1. Purchase and set up the WL-Box2 gateway according to its instruction manual.
  2. Download the Miboxer APP from your smartphone's app store.
  3. Follow the APP's instructions to connect the E2-RF controller via the WL-Box2 gateway.
  4. Once connected, you can control the LED strip lights remotely, set timers, adjust brightness, color temperature, and integrate with third-party voice assistants like Amazon Alexa or Google Home (requires additional setup through the gateway).
