1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before using your Koblenz Professional Blender LKM-9610. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

3. Setup and Assembly

Before first use, wash all parts that will come into contact with food. Ensure the blender is placed on a stable, flat, and dry surface.

Assembling the Blender:

1. Place the motor base on a clean, dry, and stable countertop.
2. Ensure the blade assembly is securely attached to the bottom of the main 2-liter Tritan jar or the personal cups.
3. Carefully place the jar onto the motor base. Align the jar with the base until it clicks into place, engaging the safety locks.
4. Place the lid securely onto the jar. For the main jar, ensure the lid is properly seated and the measuring cap is inserted. For personal cups, twist the blade assembly onto the cup, then invert and place onto the motor base.
5. Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions

The Koblenz LKM-9610 offers both manual speed control and automatic programs for various blending needs.

General Operation:

1. Add ingredients to the blender jar. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
2. Securely attach the lid and place the jar onto the motor base.
3. Select your desired blending method:
   • Adjustable Speed Knob: Turn the knob to the right to increase speed. Start at a lower speed and gradually increase as needed for optimal blending.
   • Automatic Programs: Press one of the 6 pre-set program buttons (Smoothie, Milkshakes, Ice, Puree, Juices, Sauce). The blender will run through a pre-programmed cycle and stop automatically.
   • Pulse Function: Press and hold the "PULSE" button for short bursts of power. Release to stop. This is ideal for chopping or breaking down larger pieces.
4. During blending, if ingredients get stuck, use the food pusher bar through the lid opening (for the main jar) to push them towards the blades. Ensure the blender is running when using the food pusher.
5. Once blending is complete, turn the speed knob to the "OFF" position or wait for the automatic program to finish.
6. Unplug the blender before removing the jar or cleaning.

Using Personal Cups:

• Add ingredients to the personal cup.
• Screw the blade assembly onto the open end of the personal cup until tight.
• Invert the personal cup and place it onto the motor base, aligning it until it locks.
• Operate using the speed knob or pulse function. Automatic programs may not be optimized for personal cup use.
• After blending, remove the cup, unscrew the blade assembly, and attach the sealable lid for portability.
