  3. Position Primary Node: Place one Velop unit near your internet modem. This will be your primary node.
  4. Connect to Modem: Connect one end of the provided Ethernet cable to the Internet port (usually yellow) on your Velop unit and the other end to your internet modem's LAN port.
  5. Power On: Connect the power adapter to the Velop unit and plug it into a power outlet. Wait for the LED indicator on top of the unit to turn solid blue.
  6. Launch App: Open the Linksys App and follow the on-screen instructions to set up your new Wi-Fi network.

3.2 Adding Additional Nodes (Child Nodes)

To expand your Wi-Fi coverage, you can add more Velop units as child nodes:

  2. Power On: Connect the power adapter to the child node and plug it into a power outlet. Wait for the LED indicator to turn solid blue.
  3. Add Node via App: Open the Linksys App, navigate to the "Add New Device" or "Add Node" option, and follow the instructions to integrate the new unit into your existing mesh network.
