Setup
Battery Installation (S21)
The RovyVon S21 uses a 21700 Lithium Polymer battery. Ensure the battery is inserted with the positive (+) terminal facing the head of the flashlight.
Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge both flashlights. The S21 features onboard USB-C charging. The E3 Plus also charges via USB-C.

RovyVon S21 Flashlight
Mode Selection and Power
The S21 features a unique rotating switch for mode selection and a central button for power and brightness adjustment.
- Lockout: Align the vertical marker on the rotating switch to the center position. Pressing the central button will only show the battery indicator.
- Main Beam Modes: Rotate the switch to the right. Press the central button to cycle through the four main brightness levels.
- Strobe/SOS Modes: Rotate the switch to the left. Press the central button once for SOS mode, and press and hold for strobe mode.
- Turbo Mode: From any main beam mode, press and hold the central button to activate Turbo mode for a 10-second burst.
Battery Indicator (S21)
The S21 features LED indicators to display the battery capacity. Press the central button while in lockout mode to check the battery level.
RovyVon E3 Plus Flashlight
Refer to the E3 Plus output table (Figure 6) for specific mode details. Typically, a single press of the power button will turn the flashlight on/off and cycle through brightness modes. Long press for special modes like strobe or to access the highest output.
Maintenance
- Keep the flashlight clean and dry.
- Clean threads and O-rings regularly and lubricate with silicone grease to maintain water resistance.
- If the flashlight will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent leakage.
- Avoid direct eye exposure to the light beam.
Troubleshooting
- Flashlight not turning on: Check if the battery is correctly inserted and fully charged. Ensure the S21's rotating switch is not in the lockout position.
- Charging issues: Verify the USB-C cable is properly connected to both the flashlight and a power source. Check the charging indicator light.
- Reduced brightness or runtime: The battery may be low or nearing the end of its lifespan. Replace or recharge the battery.
