Product Overview

The MOES Fingerbot is an innovative smart device designed to intelligently control traditional buttons and switches, enabling seamless home automation. It offers a simple, tool-free installation and can be integrated with smart home ecosystems via the MOES BLE Gateway.

Setup

2. Battery Installation

The Fingerbot is powered by a replaceable CR2 battery. Ensure the battery is correctly inserted according to the polarity markings inside the battery compartment.

3. Device Placement and Attachment

Identify the button or switch you wish to automate. Clean the surface around the button/switch to ensure proper adhesion. Peel off the protective film from the adhesive sticker and firmly attach the Fingerbot next to the target button or switch. Ensure the Fingerbot's arm is aligned to press the button/switch effectively.

4. Connecting to MOES BLE Gateway (Optional but Recommended)

For remote control, smart home integration (Alexa, Google Home, IFTTT), and advanced scheduling features, connect your Fingerbot to a MOES BLE Gateway. Ensure the gateway is within 5 meters (approximately 16 feet) of the Fingerbot for stable connection.

1. Download the MOES Life or Tuya BLE app from your smartphone's app store.
2. Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to add a new device.
3. Select the Fingerbot and pair it with your MOES BLE Gateway.
4. Once connected, you can configure settings, create schedules, and link with voice assistants.

Operating the Fingerbot

Manual Control (Fingerbot Plus only)

For the MOES Fingerbot Plus model, you can directly control the robot arm by touching the integrated touch buttons on the device itself. This allows for immediate activation without needing the app.

App Control

Use the MOES Life or Tuya BLE app to control your Fingerbot. Within the app, you can:

• Toggle On/Off: Directly activate or deactivate the button/switch.
• Set Schedules: Create daily or weekly schedules for automatic operation.
• Countdown Timers: Set a timer for the Fingerbot to activate after a specified duration.
• Adjust Movement: Fine-tune the down and up movement of the Fingerbot arm to perfectly match your button/switch.

Voice Control (via MOES BLE Gateway)

If connected to a MOES BLE Gateway and integrated with Alexa or Google Home, you can control your Fingerbot using voice commands. Refer to your voice assistant's setup guide for linking smart home devices.

Maintenance

Battery Replacement

When the Fingerbot's performance diminishes or it stops responding, it may be time to replace the CR2 battery. Carefully open the battery compartment, remove the old battery, and insert a new CR2 battery, observing correct polarity.

Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the Fingerbot with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
