1. Introduction
The ANCEL MT700 is an advanced motorcycle diagnostic tool designed to assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of various motorcycle brands. Equipped with a 7-inch touch screen and running on Android 5.1.1, it offers a user-friendly interface for comprehensive system diagnostics, service functions, and live data monitoring. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your MT700 device.

2. Setup and Initial Use
2.1 Packing List
Upon opening the package, verify that all components are present:

2.2 Powering On and Initial Configuration
Connect the device to a power source using the provided power cable. Press and hold the power button to turn on the tablet. Follow the on-screen prompts for initial setup.
2.3 Wi-Fi Connection
To enable online updates and remote assistance, connect the MT700 to a stable Wi-Fi network. Navigate to Settings > Wi-Fi and select your network.
2.4 Language Selection
The MT700 supports 8 languages. To change the operating language, go to Settings and locate the language options. English is the default language.

3. Operating the MT700
3.1 Connecting to a Motorcycle
Select the appropriate adapter cable for your motorcycle model from the provided set. Connect one end of the cable to the MT700 device and the other end to the motorcycle's diagnostic port. Ensure a secure connection before proceeding.
3.2 Full System Diagnosis
The MT700 allows for a comprehensive scan of all electric-controlled modules on your motorcycle. This includes systems such as Engine, TPMS, Suspensions, Ignition, EPS, Traction control, Radio, Service system, and Meter system.

Key diagnostic functions include:
- Read DTCs: Retrieve Diagnostic Trouble Codes to identify issues.
- Clear DTCs: Erase stored trouble codes after repairs.
- Live Data: View real-time data streams from various sensors and modules.
- Freeze Frame: Capture a snapshot of data at the moment a fault occurred.
- Vehicle Information: Access vehicle-specific details.
3.3 Advanced Functions
The MT700 offers over 31 advanced service functions to assist with maintenance and repair tasks:

- ABS Bleed Function: This function allows you to perform ABS bleeding for compatible motorcycles (e.g., BMW, KTM, Triumph, Benelli, Polaris). It is crucial for removing air from the internal brake fluid chambers after brake servicing to ensure effective and safe braking.
- Oil Lamp Reset Service: After motorcycle maintenance, the oil service light often remains illuminated. The MT700 can reset this indicator, completing the maintenance process and saving a trip to the dealer.
- Auto VIN & Scan: Automatically identifies vehicle information for quick diagnosis.

- Idle Speed Adjustment: Modifies the engine's idle speed.
- A/F Value Reset: Resets air/fuel ratio values.
- Instrument Coding: Programs or codes instrument cluster components.

- EOL Mode: End-of-Line mode for specific vehicle tests.
- Clear Computer Memory: Clears stored data in the vehicle's computer.
- Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS): Functions related to TPMS.
- Control Module Programming: Reprograms or updates control modules.
- Transmission Memory Reset: Resets transmission adaptive values.
3.4 Live Data Display
The MT700 can display real-time data streams from your motorcycle's control modules. This includes parameters such as Engine coolant temperature, vehicle speed, intake air temperature, engine speed, throttle position, injection duration, ignition timing, and throttle sensor voltage. This feature is crucial for monitoring system performance and diagnosing intermittent issues.
4. Maintenance and Updates
4.1 Software Updates
The ANCEL MT700 supports one-click online updates, ensuring you always have the latest software and vehicle coverage. Connect the device to Wi-Fi and navigate to the Upgrade section on the main menu to check for and install updates. No serial number is required for updates.

4.2 Cleaning and Storage
Wipe the device with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents. Store the MT700 in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use.
5. Troubleshooting
5.1 Common Issues
- Device not powering on: Ensure the power cable is securely connected and the device is charged.
- No communication with motorcycle: Verify that the correct adapter cable is used and securely connected to both the MT700 and the motorcycle's diagnostic port. Check the motorcycle's ignition status.
- Wi-Fi connection issues: Ensure the Wi-Fi network is active and the password is correct. Try restarting the device and the Wi-Fi router.
5.2 Remote Technical Support
For complex issues, ANCEL provides one-key remote assistance. This allows technical engineers to remotely control your tablet via TeamViewer software to diagnose and resolve problems directly. Access this feature from the Support section on the main menu.
