5. Setup

5.1 Mounting the Fixture

The SEBRUANC 200W Blinder Stage Light can be mounted in various orientations: on the ground, walls, or trusses. Always ensure the mounting surface or structure is capable of safely supporting the weight of the fixture.

  1. Attach the carrying handle (mounting bracket) to the sides of the fixture using the provided knobs and spacers. Ensure they are tightened securely.
  2. For truss mounting, use appropriate clamps (not included) to secure the carrying handle to the truss.
  3. For wall or ground mounting, position the fixture as desired and ensure stability.
  4. Always use a safety cable (not included) when suspending the fixture overhead.

5.2 Power Connection

Connect the provided power cord to the "POWER IN" port on the rear of the fixture and then to a grounded 110V AC power outlet. Multiple fixtures can be daisy-chained using the "POWER OUT" port to connect to the "POWER IN" of another fixture, provided the total current draw does not exceed the circuit's capacity.

5.3 DMX Connection (Optional)

For DMX control, connect a DMX controller to the "DMX IN" port using a standard 3-pin DMX cable. To control multiple fixtures, connect the "DMX OUT" of the first fixture to the "DMX IN" of the next, and so on. The last fixture in the chain should have a DMX terminator (not included) connected to its "DMX OUT" port for optimal signal integrity.

6. Operating Modes

The fixture can be operated in several modes, selectable via the LCD display and control buttons on the rear panel (MENU, UP, DOWN, ENTER).

6.1 DMX Control Mode (8 Channels)

In DMX mode, the fixture is controlled by an external DMX controller. Set the DMX address for each fixture using the control panel. Refer to the DMX channel chart in Section 8 for specific functions.

6.2 Sound Control Mode

In sound control mode, the fixture reacts to ambient sound, changing patterns or intensity based on audio input. This mode is ideal for dynamic lighting effects synchronized with music.

6.3 Auto Mode

Auto mode cycles through pre-programmed lighting sequences and effects automatically. This mode is suitable for standalone operation without external control.

6.4 Master/Slave Mode

In Master/Slave mode, one fixture acts as the "Master" and controls other "Slave" fixtures. Connect the DMX OUT of the Master to the DMX IN of the first Slave, and daisy-chain subsequent Slaves. All Slave fixtures will mirror the Master's operation.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your SEBRUANC 200W Blinder Stage Lights.

  • Cleaning: Periodically clean the lens and exterior casing with a soft, lint-free cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the fixture is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
  • Fan and Vents: Ensure the cooling fan and ventilation openings are free from dust and debris. Use compressed air to clear any blockages.
  • Cable Inspection: Regularly inspect power and DMX cables for any signs of damage, fraying, or loose connections. Replace damaged cables immediately.
  • Mounting Hardware: Check all mounting hardware, including brackets, clamps, and safety cables, for security and wear. Tighten any loose connections.

Note: Do not attempt to repair the fixture yourself. Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
