Regular cleaning of the lint filter is crucial for maintaining drying efficiency and preventing fire hazards. Clean the lint filter before or after every load.

  • Open the dryer door.
  • Locate the lint filter at the back of the drum.
  • Gently pull the filter out.
  • Remove any accumulated lint by hand or with a soft brush.
  • Reinsert the clean lint filter securely into its position.

General Cleaning

Wipe the exterior of the dryer with a soft, damp cloth. Periodically clean the interior of the drum with a mild detergent and water solution, then wipe dry.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your dryer, refer to the following common solutions:

  • Dryer not starting: Check if the power cord is securely plugged in and if the circuit breaker has tripped. Ensure the door is fully closed.
  • Clothes not drying properly: Verify the lint filter is clean. Reduce load size. Select a higher heat setting or longer drying time. Ensure the vent hose is not blocked.
  • Unusual noises: Check for foreign objects in the drum. Ensure the dryer is level and stable.
