1. Introduction

2. Setup and First Use

2.1 What's in the Box

Upon opening the package, ensure all components are present:

  • Lens front cap
  • Lens rear cap
  • Soft case
  • Case strap

2.2 Attaching the Lens

  1. Ensure your camera is turned off.
  2. Remove the rear lens cap and the camera body cap.
  3. Align the white index mark on the lens barrel with the white index mark on your camera's E-mount.
  4. Push the lens gently into the camera mount and rotate it clockwise until it clicks into place. Do not force the lens.

2.3 Attaching the Lens Hood

Align the red dot on the lens hood with the red dot on the front of the lens. Rotate the hood clockwise until it locks into position. The lens hood helps to block unwanted light and protect the front element of the lens.

3. Operating the Lens

3.1 Zooming

To adjust the focal length, rotate the zoom ring located on the lens barrel. The lens offers a versatile zoom range from 16mm (wide-angle) to 35mm (standard wide-angle).

3.2 Focusing (AF/MF Switch)

The lens features an AF/MF (Autofocus/Manual Focus) switch on the side of the barrel. This allows you to quickly switch between autofocus and manual focus modes.

3.4 Focus Hold Button

4. Maintenance and Care

4.1 Cleaning the Lens
